Let me introduce myself, je suis Colonel Pierre LaFlamme of The Council, et I admit I have already wanted to contact your mouvement, back when the first Bretonian reports came about your forces assisting Gallic Royal ones. Why no contact was initiated from our side is that at the time several other opérations took our attention, but I am still curious about why a révolutionnaire organization chosen to aid a tyranny, I dare to say, even more oppréssíf than the Bretonian one.
However, what latest news I received made me wonder again. One of my agents reported a big chunk of your forces turning on a Gallic Royal battalion, an interesting report, indeed. A quite confusing one at the same time. Now, are you with or against the Gallic Royalty? I would like to know this because I want to make clear our stances et be sure about the relations of our mouvements as well, et I personally don't think there should be a necessaire hostilité between our groups. I also hope my inquiries will not fall on deaf ears. Merci.
Sincerement,
Colonel Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil
Chef de Groupement tactique Roussillonnaise
'Ello Mr. LaFlamme Du C... Ya know, I'll just stick with LaFlamme if it's all ta same with ya.
Apologies for ta delay though. We've been quite busy an' as such 'ave not had much time t' draw our attention away from our internal dealin's. Luckily for ya, we've reached a point t' allow us t' address outside matters.
Now, as t' our relations with ta Gauls. That is our business, an' ours alone. What I can tell ya is we want a free Dublin, an' we will do whatever we need t' do in order t' achieve that. If that means gainin' assistance from unlikely groups, whoever they may be, then so be it. If we feel threatened by said groups, we will act accordin'ly an' ensure they pose no threat t' our people an' systems. Surely ya can understand that.
As far as yer wanting a black an' white answer, as I said, I will not give you one, as we do not deal in black an' white, save one. A free Dublin. Now, that is not t' say I don' respect what yer tryin' ta do as another group of revolutionaries. Though, ta means we each employ t' achieve our purposes differ greatly. But, at least we can agree that we want freedom fer our people from tyranny an' oppression.
Now, as t' our relationship. I haven' any reports of Council ships attackin' Molly ships, so i'm inclined t' have no ill thoughts about ya. If kept that way, I don' see a reason why our two groups can' be of use towards eachother, or at ta very least civil. But, that is best saved fer another time.
I hope I've satisfied yer questions. If not, well then love, ya'll 'ave t' just deal with it.
It is not too frequent from us to leave channels open et unattended, even less frequent that we receive a reply after such a long time, so I have to admit I really did not expect a message at all after... months.
I also have to admit that I am not enough familiar with Bretonian politics to make a proper judgement as due to the lack of contact between our mouvements we were able to witness only one side so far. However, while the internal politcs of Bretonia are not my concern (or at least not directly), whomever et on which side decides to join the conflict between the Kingdom of Gallia et the rest of Sirius is very much my concern.
I'm surprised a bit. You are speaking against things being black et white, yet you seem to have chosen aiding the Gallic Royal Navy just because they are bashing the Bretonian defenses et of course because you are no target of them... yet. But while, as I said, I know only a part of Bretonian politics, I know how things roll in Gallia et Gallic controlled space very well. What little time I had to familiarize myself with how life is going in this other Kingdom, I learned the difference between a constitutional monarchy et an absolute one. Et this difference is vast.
Believe me, you sure don't want to trade one oppressor for an other, worse one. The hunger of the King is endless et it will not stop until all of Sirius will be under his control. There will be no exceptions.
For now I only ask you to heed my words, et reconsider your stance within this war. On an other note, neither I know about any conflicts between our forces, et I like it this way. I hope it won't change, et my men will do their best not to let it change.
Sincerement,
General Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil

Greetings Colonel. I am not certain if I have previously had the chance to meet you, but I do wish you well and good health.
Your message header signaled my comms, and apologies that it took so long for the signal to reach you, as it had taken a very long time to reach me. I am certain that by this point in time the Molly leadership has already made their response, but I wished to put forward a few words of my own that you may find both informational and somewhat soothing.
The Mollys fight is directed towards the oppression of the Bretonian government and towards the ever increasing incursive threat of the Corsairs, just as the Council fight is against the crown of Gallia.
This being said, the primary position of the Mollys is to let Bretonia and Gallia lay waste to each other, as long as the Mollys are left in peace. You do not often find officially marked Molly ships engaging the Gallic Navy any more than you will find them engaging Council ships. The Mollys are content to let the Gallic Royal Navy take on the battleships of the Bretonian Armed Forces as it weakens our primary enemy and costs nothing in Molly lives.
The Mollys and the Council have always had a neutral understanding with each other and I personally see no reason for that to be disturbed. It is true, however, that there are the occasional conflcts such as when Molly forces are engaged with the BAF and a Council ship enters the battle on the side of Bretonia. Those instances are few and far between, the last of which I personally witnessed was over a year ago.
There are also certain rogue independent elements that identify with the Molly movement but who are not under the leadership of the Molly governor council and who do not abide by our laws and agreements. Some of these are barely more than apolitical pirates to be weeded out. Likewise, you and I both know that there are similar persons who identify with the Council but who are not actually affiliated with the Council leadership.
It was my common practice, when dealing with these rogue persons and their ships, to identify them, deny them docking privileges at our bases, and as necessary on a case by case basis, destroy them. I would recommend that the Council do the same. Take what action or use whatever force you deem necessary at the time, and notify the Molly leadership afterwards with verification images. Any Molly ship that does not bear the [M]- transponder marker, is (by me) considered to be acting of its own accord if it does not abide by Molly laws and agreements. Do with them as you deem necessary and notify us of your actions. The Mollys will do the same for rogue Council ships that are encountered.
That is my recommendation, and I am sure that the current governor will agree.
