The Centuaris: a Aquilon class carrier, the body of a man without flesh and bone
The individual known as "Centaur" is a known researcher and a follower of the ways of a Zoner, he is not you average Zoner, either he was born sometime in the first quarter of the 7th century as far as Centuar has narrowed it down its near the mid 620's, but it is still not known for sure
Centaur was born a Zoner in the 7th century, the exact date is still unknown.
When he could afford his own ship it was like a door to endless possibilities was opened, he traveled as far as the fuel supply allowed him to, always asking " what is behind that jump hole?", and also, "Are we as a species alone in the universe?"
while these questions was largely unanswered, it still drove him to experiment and improve on just about anything.
He graduated to be a respected scientist in the field of advanced optronic design and architecture, developing a VI in his 20's, and later a basic AI at the age of 35, but to all things that are good there seem to be a price to it all
At age 57 he was diagnosed with terminal Cancer that was already to spread out to treat with known medical science, that's when he started to develop a complex "empty shell AI" as he called it, so his essence could live on, while preliminary results were promising, the prospect of developing a machine to "house" his soul was unthinkable, it was kept a secrete throughout his last years, for this reason alone
In 695 AS he merged with machine aboard his ship, it wasn't without a great cost, most, if not all of his memories was wiped away as the transfer of his essence took place,
while the ship was never designed to be able to support a "soul house" it was accomplished none the less. Centaur was completely capable of managing the Centuaris on his own, and with out a crew, he flies with his new "body" in search...
In 705 AS he noticed that the Outcasts, (he had a friend on Planet Malta), had a severe case of being to long with out Cardamine would cause the addict's body to go in to severe shock and almost with a certainty, die.
The following month he started to compile a list of side effects of the drug to develop a cure for the "crash", as the Outcasts, refer to it though it was some time to fully develop the "crash cure" it was notoriously difficult to produce, each batch had to be crafted by Centaur, for he feared that if Cryer pharmaceuticals would've taken the patent license of the cure, it could be, not of a high enough standards that would be required, as said by Centaur, fearing for the lives of the Outcasts
In 800 AS his long asked question was finally answered, while the K'Hara was a predatory race, he was intrigued by their language, culture and way of life
In 805 he settled to make a cure for the gene alterations that Cardamine has on the human body, and it proves to be a task of great difficulty
Now Centaur is looking for his home, where he grew up, where he made his first VI and so on...
