Good afternoon, directors or whomever this message reaches. I bring troubling but interesting news and a request for intel.

There is a group called Cerberus that has recently come back and made... veiled threats against the Natio and its civilian population. They are claiming to have nuclear and chemical weapons in the New Caledonia-- er, Kansas system armed and ready to fire at any Natio or Raiders asset. Some of the ships that travel through the system are citizens of the Republic of Liberty as well, and they could be in danger.

As we're your neighbours sandwiched between yourselves and Bretonia, and the centre of this potential... issue... we're requesting any information you are able to give me so that I can forward it to the Octavarium Intelligence Commission. We need to know what we're up against here. We don't want anyone at all to be hurt by a possible foreign threat.

Good day Mister Kane,

First of all allow me to thank you for bringing this to our attention. From what we understand of the Cerberus organization, they are highly pro-human and will take any act they deem necessary in order to "protect" humanity, even if that means resorting to terrorism. The group is very closely affiliated with The Order, think of them as a sort of 'Black Ops Division'.

For the most part, Cerberus stays to themselves and the only ones that need to fear them are the Nomads and people who show too much interest in their affairs. Rest assured that if any of Liberty's citizens are put at risk by the actions of Cerberus, we will intervene. With that being said, the LSF advises that you avoid them wherever possible. The LSF is aware that Cerberus has some sort of installation, that contains an assortment of weapons facilities and ship building platforms on Planet Witchita. Currently LSF interest in the Kansas system is minimal.

The last thing we need right now is another war zone, so our final suggestion is not to take any rash actions. I hope that this has been of some help to you, Taskmaster Kane.
