Alright, lets get this thing started. *He sighs deeply as he slides over a few hologram screens in his cockpit 'till he reaches the one he is looking for*
Commander John Stricklands logs, entry one:
"Alright, today started of as usual. Nothing really interesting at first. Basically ran my little patrol run around New York once again.
When i came to Manhattan again, my ship recieved a distress call from Pennsylvania. 't Turns out some trader ran into trouble with a Rogue rookie. Since no cops were around i decided to give it a little look.
When i arrived there as planned without trouble, the rookie seemed to be engaged into combat with the second trader already. To get a little view over the situation, i ordered both to stand down. The trader refused to cooperate and this resulted in continuously chasing the Rogue down Pennsylvania. He managed to run into New York, after the trader decided to let it rest. While i was busy arresting this Rogue, something unpredicted happened. "
Commander John Stricklands logs, entry two:
"A big nomad vessel appeared, known only as a cruiser sized 'Jelly' by most. I decided to send away the rogue, as this threat was more severe. Against all odds, this being appeared to be only after information.. that is when it happened.
The nomad send a vision my way. *He shivers as he thinks of it again* I found myself in a closed purple colored room. Right opposite of me stood a hooded figure. It had glowing purple things where his eyes were supposed to be. Then it started to speak...
A deep voice tore through my mind saying: Who are you?
Then it asked me the following question: What do you know about Valhalla One and its contents? We know your kind stole our inheritance!
*He takes another aspirine as his head still hurts*
At last it gave me some orders.
Something moved between the figures fingers and my head. And it ordered me to find Valhalla one. It hurt, it hurt a lot. But the objective was clear. I must get this thing to Valhalla One, or i will suffer greatly...
I will follow them, for i dont want to suffer the consequences.
I wont dissapoint the Light..
Commander Strickland signing off."
There, thats noted. *He sighs* Now i won't forget what i must do.. finally i get to the encryption. *Slides over a couple of screens again* Lets see. Security protocol Zeta and above.. that should do...
Now. Time to get back to business, it seems the Ion Storms have passed again.
To be continued..
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
The Nomad uncloaked in front of the two insect-sized human fighters. Immediately, one of them fled, while the other attempted to talk to it. It initiated a vision and bend the human's will to its own as easily as a man would snap a twig, once it became clear that the human could prove useful. It projected its orders into the human's brain:
You will serve us.
You are to go to the Shrine and collect an object there.
It will be waiting for you.
Once that is done, go back to your kind and search for the contents of the vault known to you as Vallaha One.
Place the object there.
Then return.
Do NOT fail us, or great suffering will come.
But if you succeed, rewards beyond your imagination await you.
Once finished, the nomad cloaked away again and disappeared.
Alright, lets get this thing over with... again. *He sighs deeply as he slides over a few hologram screens in his cockpit 'till he reaches the one he is looking for once more*
Commander John Stricklands logs, entry three:
"Well, today i managed to get to the orders that thing send me. I hope that this is all, the command starts to grow suspicious of my activities. I went to the shrine and got what he asked me to get.
Strickland heading for the gate.
Strickland facing the gate.
Strickland is getting heavy radiation damage as he searches the system for The Shrine.
Strickland entering The Shrine.
Strickland retrieving the Item the nomad asked him too.
This i brought to Valhalla One as he requested me.
Strickland is still shivering as he leaves the system to find himself in familiar space.
Strickland enters the Pennsylvania system bearing the artifact, stunned to find himself so close to home.
Strickland landing on the surface. He then moves to Valhalla to drop the item off.
They let me in when i showed them my badge. Then, as i entered the vaults below i dropped there the item.
Strickland dropping the item off.
I got out as quickly as possible afterwards.
It was quite the trip, i saw things i didnt even know were so close to New York.
Commander Strickland signing off."

"Today i recieved my gift. I have now been seeded with the gift of Das Wilde... as we know them. Im very happy with my new gift.
It started by meeting the nomad in California.
It asked me to follow it through to the place where he would implant it in me.
I decided to make it look like i was chasing it. So we wouldnt look suspicious.
When it led me too the Cortez system, i became suspicious of where we were headed. In the end my guess appeared to be correct. We jumped to Coronado and my suspicions became even more realistic.
This is where i know my suspicions were correct. That gate.. the wreckage in the opening.. it all fit into the picture.
Then, it initiated another vision with me.. promising great power.
We went through the gate to a seemingly quiet system. Then i was ambushed by Wilde, and i knew i had entered one of their homes.
It then gave me my gift. It infested me with what seems like a small blue seed. "In a few days it will hatch and give you powers beyond your imagination" the nomad promised me.
On my way out however, i ran into a Colonial. It tried to interrogate me.
I kept persisting i was chasing it.
Then the nomad uncloaked and revealed the truth.
It then ordered me to go back to my 'kind' as it were. I obeyed. I landed at Planet Lost Angeles, tired and beaten up from this trip.
Commander Strickland signing off."
I really need to find a bed now, my head hurts terribly...
