Bonjour gents, or how we say here in Bretonian G'day.

I"am contacting you gents with a business proposal. We are in need of materials to construct a new type of reactor. For the reactor we need a specific type of cryotube. We know you gents have to contacts to acquire it as you have done in the past for Bretonia. We are in need of the following amount:
  • -Cryocubes: 5'000

If you agree to accept this order we can discuss a payment and i will let you in on further details.
With regard
I. Driscoll.
Admiral Bretonian Armed Forces.

Bonsoir Admiral Driscoll,

Excuzez nous for the late reply, Admiral. Je suis Sergent Henri Croix, member of the Leadership of the Trade and Supply Division of The Council, thus one of the many who might be able to help you.

You must know, Monsieur, that cryocubes are being manufactured in the deep core worlds of Gallia and their production and transportation has been supervised even more strictly since some unaffiliated individuals made a habit out of attempting to smuggle it out in large quantities and then getting caught by either the Navy or Police forces. This of course only a moderate obstacle, but keep this in mind when thinking about an offer.

Along with that, I would also be interested in the intended destination of the cargo.

Sergeant Croix first off thank you for taking the time to respond to this transmission.

We are aware that moving into the core of Gallia is a risk, and we are more than willing to reward you for it.

The destination for the Cryocubes is Southamton Shipyard, we're going to conduct some tests there with the Cryocubes to increase the efficency of our own coolers, if we're sucessfull.

Signed: Mike Havering

Bonsoir Admirals Driscoll and Havering,

Calculations have been done, we concluded that while the route is dangerous, it is still not impossible. We are still calculating neccessary preparations, c'est possible that two l'Ane-class transports will be required for the task. Overall costs, including the cost of the cargo estimates around 50 million Sirian Credits, which roughly translates to 10 000 SC/unit. If this price is fine for you, said costs are to be sent to
[C]-Stock#1, if not then we can negotiate the price, but keep in mind that a lower cost can result in a less prepared attempt of smuggle, thus more risk. Awaiting your reply, Mesieurs.

Good afternoon monsieur Croix.

I believe it is pronounced like that?

At this point the price of 50 000 000 Sirian credits is AGREED upon and being transferred to the designated account we have in our database. You should receive the cash transmission soon.
It goes without saying that this riskful enterprise should be rewarded accordingly.

If you don't mind, could you send us the necessary evidence of your delivery on Southampton? The Bridge is quite busy these days ... and yes it is sometimes easy to overlook a 'discrete' delivery. For I trust it can be handled like that?

Outline:
  1. Upon arrival in New London system, Traffic control shall send an order to Southampton to clear 2 mooring points for your transports.
  2. Upon arrival you simply dock without asking permission, the mooring points will be marked as "under maintenance" which I assure you they will not be.
  3. From there your cargo will be loaded off your ships by your staff and some of ours. They will be armed for security measures only, so please do not be alarmed.
  4. For review and later evidence it is requested by us and your superiours that you take sufficient evidence of the delivery with you. Once the evidence is made you may forward it to us as well via this channel.

The rest should be no more than a standard transport run... but of course with additional risk involved.
That should be all from our side, can we count on your discretion?

Regards.

Bonsoir Admirals Driscoll and Havering,

The payment has arrived shortly after your transmission, Admiral Havering, and we could start preparing the project. Tonight we finally got to executing our plan and I am glad to say that we were successful. Attachment contains images about the two ships starting their journey back from Gallia with the cargo in their hold, stopping at Toulouse to unload the refugees and get some present to thank your patience with - which we hope you'll find useful -, and then arriving to Southampton in safety. Docking and unloading the cargo went just like we've been told. Additionally I instructed some of your folks how to handle the unloaded cargo, just to make sure they are careful with it. I'm looking forward to more business deals between ourselves in the near future.
