She lets herself to be dragged to the other room. She sits down next to him, putting her head on his shoulders, gazing into space.
"The repair man?" she asks " He's more than fine. I've rented a room for him, and also paid for his drinks. He's probably sleeping now, and the first Aegira or DSE ship will take him home."*she sighed.*
" Call me Kurumi. Calling me Saeki-san is way too formal, don't you think? Or should I call you Rowe?"*she giggles*
" Why wouldn't I be fine?" she asks " I'm happy to have you here with me.... It's been ages since I've danced with anyone. And I love to dance." she replies, and changed topic right away.
He allows her to rest on his shoulder; looking down, did not make a move himself.
"Good..." he says, when she replies his question about the repairman. "As I said earlier, I'd like to make sure of his safety. So I'll take him home myself, is that alright with you?"
"You can call me Chris, by the way... Kurumi," he looks at her again, trying to guess what she's thinking, feeling. He realises that her hand is still in his own, so he leaves her hand free slowly.
"You said that I have a positive effect on you, right, Kurumi? If that's the reason for calling me here, it must be that you do not like the way you are right now... I am here, so talk to me."
" It's alright. We'll find him in the morning, is that okay for you?"*she smiles*" But he will probably be drunk, and I don't think he likes me" *she laughs softly*
"Hey Chris. Don't act as a psychologist. I asked you to care about me, not my problems. They'll solve themselves. Or not." she replies to his question, placing her arms around him slowly. She would begin to talk about her problems, but it's not the easiest thing to make her do so.
Then as usual, she shifts topic. "Do you think I'm pretty?" she asks, almost whispering. " I know I am, but I'd like to hear that from you!"
Chris does not want to speak like a psychologist, but wants her to free herself up to him, and tell about her problems. He's also afraid... very... of the way things are going. Confused, in doubt, without a way out in a situation he's cornered in, wrapped by her arms. It all makes him a little bit sad and excited at the same time.
He looks into her eyes, and nods honestly, "Yes, you're pretty, Kurumi... Your eyes, both of them... they are like jewels most bright, you know...".
"Heterochromia" she tells her, pulls her hands back slowly, stroking his back with this movement. " Most people think I'm using contact lenses." She comments.
" I hope you haven't got any programs for today.... because I won't let you go... And as I have heard, your ship won't be able to fly for some time."*she grins*
"Are you hungry? I hope you like udon. I made it. Consider yourself lucky, and honoured! I never cook to anyone.... Not like I have guests here often..." She smiles, and leaves for the kitchen, and comes back a moment later. " If only you hadn't been late... " She sits down next to him.
" Just wondering.... What did you expect when you came here, to my apartment?"
Her eyes fit her, Chris thinks. Her looks were perfectly in tune with her uncommon and very confusing nature, yet always intriguing and magically alluring.
He nods to her, entertaining a calm smile on his lips again. "Yeah... It looks like it will take a while until my ship is space worthy again... If I have a ship in tact at all still, that is..." he shakes his head, wondering what the questionable dock workers stealing from his ship right now; probably taking apart each piece and selling it to the junkers.
"And I came for the dinner, and still haven't eaten yet... so guess... I am hungry... a lot..." he winks and widens his smile.
He acts like he's thinking for a while before he answers her last question... "Well... I kind of suspected I'd be the main dish, and not the main guest... Still remains to be seen if I am right..."
" I don't mind if you stay here for a while... just don't expect me to wash for you, and such..."she winks. "...and you know.... my behavior might change... from time to time"she grins maniacally.
" As for the main dish..." she sits on his laps, facing him. "...How would you like to be cooked?"she winks at him with a grim smile.
After a short pause, she jumps off him, laughing. " I just love how easy it is to confuse you!"
She leaves the room, coming back a bit later, holding a huge bowl. She gets the dishes, the cutlery, and lays the table, finally lightning a candle in the middle of the table. " Dinner is served, I hope you like udon."
