My dear Colonials.
Please do not be alarmed at the appearance of my ship in the midst of your sector. I come on a mission of urgency to rally what support I can for the Council. The war against Gallia goes worse than we will publicly admit; every day we lose men and ships to the Gauls while every day they come close to breaking our lines.
When that happens they will descend on the sector at large like locusts - if you cannot stand united against them, they will disassemble your houses one by one until there is nothing left.
My ship was damaged in transit and we require repairs before continuing our mission. I would respectfully request permission to dock and assess the damage at any available facilities, as well as maybe discuss the oncoming threat?
I apologize for the delay you had to experience with regard to this channel, although the Admiral is currently unavailable and it took a bit of time before the message reached my desk.
As formalities are in order, I am Sophius Johnsons, Major of the 49th "Firebirds" Squadron. It is interesting, as well as very much appreciated, to see this kind of devotion in the fight against Gallia. What you bring is no news to us, I'll admit - but we believe that there is a chance at finishing this war, in due time and with the appropriate strategies.
Nevertheless, moving forward to your request, seeing as you and your crew are of Council origin, i assume we may offer you a mooring point at the Sabah shipyards, although it would be best if we got in touch through more secure channels in order to arrange a proper escort.
I'll be awaiting for a reply. Until then, good luck!

Secretary,
Apologies for only replying to your message now, I do have a vague recollection of discussing business when Col.Cassidiac opened the third whiskey bottle, but after that I am afraid things are rather fuzzy.
Repairs at Sabah proceed well, as you will know. Weapons are now mostly back online; the anti-strike and cruiser weapons are fully functional, it is just the capital array that requires a little extra time.
Spares for the cloak and jump drives seem a little easier to come by than I thought, and I believe I owe your engineering corps an apology - it seems that your technicians along with GBS are succeeding in getting them repaired with greater success than I anticipated!
With regards to my role in the neighbourhood, I believe that more secure channels would be better. Eyes and indeed ears are everywhere - I am sure that even now Gallic spies are informing their handlers that a battleship has escaped their lines and moving behing them.
