You may want to check up on the mental health of your pilots.
Last night I was accused of murder without any proof being presented.
After releasing the two pilots I had rescued, not killed, to your officer, he choose to embark on a suicide mission with the poor souls in his custody.
While your organization may not regard the life of a common citizen of any worth, I do.
I may be a criminal myself, but I don't like seeing hard-working Libertonian citizens die.
I managed to rescue the two pilots once again and they are now safely abord my ship, unharmed and well-fed.
I'll drop them off at a neutral place the next time I have a chance, but since they have run up quite a bill, I'd appreciate it if I could recieve some sort of compensation. *rubs fingers together*
Let me know your answer... heh.. hehe.. ahaHAHAHA!!!
I do love hearing about your heroism to save the civilian standards floating freely in space. Unfortunately... I must disregard your request of compensation. As it is nice of you to feed them, and place them in a holding cell aboard your craft, it is not of our order to spend your Credits by the willy nilly on them. The proposed comment of dropping them off at your next chance tells me you intend to keep them for some time.
Although un-harmed is fine and well pilot, you are doing a kind justice to them by not leaving them stranded in oblivion and I'm sure they miss their families/friends/pets/their ship and should be turned over to the nearest planet where they can work out their life, and you can be on with yours. That is, Unless you intend to keep them aboard and drop them off according to your schedule. Maybe you'll make a close friend. Who knows.
Which brings me to one more thing. Speaking of 2 pilots. By the sound of your transmission, an officer of the 5th fleet took them into his/her custody, and ended up shot down. You tractored the civilian pods that you handed over, but what of the pilot of our fleet? Left them floating in vengence? How considerate.
I'll reiterate, No compensation will be provided. Work a deal with pilots aboard your vessel to reimburse you the credits spent. After all... You saved them. I will forward a message to high command though, and have the fleet intellect reviewed.
