As ordered by those with rank,
A heroic song of glory,
I apprectiate all who thank
Me for my humble story.
The Song of the Battle of Tau-37
In the region of the lost,
In a land full of frost,
There was a battle fought
Where total victory was sought,
There stood three warriors to fight,
Prepared to die for what was right;
They would not surrender that night;
They'd hold on with all their might.
Vtec the Sturdy heard the call,
standing over the field-tall;
He'd rather die then fall -
a warrior worthy of Valhall,
A duel with Lance he did take,
he understood what was at stake,
his resolve would not break,
he would not make a mistake.
Battle-clashing blood spilled,
Promises of honor fulfilled,
Lance's cruiser was killed,
the Warrior's were thrilled;
Nightfall the Darkhorse was there,
from his guns he'd not tear,
His Mauler he'd not prepared,
Of this he did not despair,
Death charged from the side,
A battlestar was Macduffman's ride,
But his weakness was pride
as his ship the Darkhorse fried,
Dab the Lucky took flight,
Heavily outnumbered tonight,
But he was known for his bite,
that he'd hold on too tight,
Amongst the chaos and flame,
His enemies' fighters he'd slain,
Putting Marauder to shame
As the 4 fought him in vain,
As the battle waxed-night set in,
it was obvious who'd win -
The enemies filled with chagrin,
There defenses were worn thin,
The three warriors had won,
As the enemies turned to run,
Their plans undone,
The AW claimed their sun.

Again, it is me who apparently reads your creation first!
May Odin himself put you besides him to listen to your poems of Glory on the Day when he calls you to Valhalla and may that Day of Glory be far away for the Delay will bring more pleasure to Odin's ears!
*OOC: that was a long exclamation :dry:
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
Ok why is that battle coming up again it was ages ago and all that is behind us now.
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
Elektra your kindness not unheard,
I make the songs that are requested,
when they took place I am not given word,
I just sing of the warriors who were tested.
For your defense of my humbe tale,
I offer you a song of your own,
To most other gifts it is pale
but it something I can give alone.
So if this wish you want true,
tell me of a battle,
in which you saw through,
to which I might make a brattle.

....
I close my eyes and envision,
a battle most profound,
Sporadic fighting, ships collision,
On a sacred battle ground.
I see the hero standing alone,
his eyes flash-the missiles home.
He moves to attack,
the enemies fall back...
