You know when you write something, you think it's cool, & pat yourself on the back for it only to go back and re-read it weeks or months later and realize that it sucks on toast?
No?
Well, it happens to me all the time!
Feedback threads scare me...not because I fear a negative response, (I'm my own worst critic & tell myself all sorts of horrible things about my writing ability) but because my favorite kind of honesty is the brutal kind & I view feedback threads simply as a 90% vehicle for self-promotion. I don't expect people to say for the most part what they REALLY think when they post in 'em.
I'm doin' a feedback thread now because I'm rebooting the bio of my 1st disco character and it's already surreal as hell...my main concern is that I'm conveying the ideas properly & that it's easy to follow.
