Reminder that the LSF, contrary to what most believe, answers only to the President. Some are still unable to grasp this and it leads to unfortunate events such as this last one in New York where we've been forced to shoot down a transport for refusing to provide information. Yelling "contact gov" or "contact hc" will not help change the situation either, as unfortunate as it may be.
Please discuss this to the members to avoid other potential issues. We do not want to hunt down ships "just because", but we're doing the security checks as part of our roleplay as an intelligence faction.
Thank you.

Yeah, that didnt go as you expected I see. Food for thought, Intel faction or not, your not allowed to shoot other lawful entities especially your own House Faction UNLESS specific criteria is met . Damn Haven't seen someone do this in a few years.

Did you really think that the Navy is below the LSF and is obligated to answer to it? Or were you just annoyed a bit that you did not get that sweet iridium to profit off of, after being told in no uncertain terms that "if you need info about this you gotta contact my superiors because the pilot is not authorized to tell anyone, add to the fact that this was propably said in local and therefore unsecured line of communication what was so hard to understand?
Saronsen being Saronsen aside, this was more about providing a simple answer to a simple question and moving on. There was nothing stopping the transport pilot from simply PMing as a "secure" line of communication.
The "contact superiors/gov" shtick is also part of said issue that I am raising because of its frequent usage by members belonging to this faction, resulting in nothing but nonsensical arguments between pilots in space.
Aight, now that I'm done with work, I can appropriately reply to your nonsense.
Your character was a mid-level agent in the LSF, who,
A) Did not identify himself
B) Unlawfully stopped a ship belonging to the Liberty Navy, who the LSF have absolutely zero jurisdiction over
C) Shot said transport when the commanding officer, a Lieutenant Commander, would not tell you where the legal cargo was obtained.
The Navy doesn't ask the LSF where they get their legal goods from, likewise the LSF should not be asking the Navy where they picked up a cargo hold full of iridium (not even in ore form) and proceed to open fire when they don't get the information they seek.
Demanding information is and always has been a very slippery slope, even for unlawfuls, as evidenced here. You were given an answer, you didn't like the answer and you opened fire anyway. Not only is that god-awful RP, but it's very much against your ID lines, and the server rules in general.
You were given multiple opportunities to save yourself from the consequences that came after, but you chose to ignore them. That's on you.
