Reporter Dawn barns reporting.
Short news bullitin.
The colorado incident. Today oure newsgroup was on pueblo station, too do a report about the station here for the eveningnews.
When we were on the commanddeck the communication officer came running down the corridor and handed over a piece of paper too the commander.
It looked like that several trade vessels were been robbed by pirates, and now these pirate group was reported on a course for pueblo station
The stationcommander immedetly responded and told the comm officer too contact the navy and request assistance.
Together with my cameraman lucas I requested permission too stay and report about the events for you folks back home, but all civilian personel was ordered too evacuated too NewYork, no exceptions.
The navy had a patrol fleet in the area who soon arrived at pueblo for defense.
Oure intel says it was the 57th LTAF.
The fleet was containing the:
*Carrier Oklahoma.
*Cruiser Pensecola.
*Cruiser Detroit.
*Cruiser Wisconsin.
*Gunboat John jones.
*Gunboat Will Joxer
*and 2 fighter wings of those new guardians.
From here on I have too guess what happened but ill try too be as acurate as possible.
The fleet ran probably into a massive combined fleet of pirate fighter, bombers and outcast capital ships we heared later.
The 57th started too defend pueblo and fleeing civilians from the enemy forces.
Soon we saw several explosions we still dont know what happened.
Later that day we saw several repair- and medicalships leaving Norfolk shipyard and headed into colorado.
We tried too enter but the navy completely sealed of colorado and issued a warning that there was a radiation tread.
No other ships than naval and LSF iffd ships were allowed too enter.
Seems they also block the free press.
*coughing*
*A raw and tyred voice* Man o man what a day.
First my wive left me and I got kicked out of my own house and than it was a hell of a working day.
Today a cruiser was towed back into drydock.
What a wreck.
Seems the bridge is comletly destroyed some nucklehead flew his fighter strayed in there what a mess, here engines are fried seems a nova impact on starboard side
And here weapons. All here turrets are blown up there simply none left on the ship, we have too change the entire weaponsgrid.
Several decks are visible from the outside because here hull is penetrated and blown away by nova explosions.
**coughing** Asfar as we know its the Pensecola.
It is.. or perhaps was the . The flagship of the 57th its cruiser group.
I heared the fought a battle in colorado against the outcast and lost.
Well not much crew was aboard only a 50 orso they try too keep the ship in the air.
It looks like they volunteered too stay abaord until the ship was in drydock.
They talked about a large combined pirate fleet.
We will need a lot of resources iff we want this cruiser back in space.
Well I know this ship will cost me a lot of hours
That it for now
*OHara out*.

Today we rechieved a messages from the Naval administration office.
With the increasing pirate attacks closer too oure bases the navy is going too retreat the big ships too Junea repair facility.
Well it makes my job a lot easier.
It seems that the cruiser we work on over the past 7 months will be towed away aswell.
Her structual integrity is back too 67% with those new hullplates, but iam doubting she will fly again.
Here engine room is still empty so she wont fly far on here own.
Rumors were going she would be outfitted with those new Fusioncores.
Joe wakes up from his PDA buzzing.
Sleepy he sits up in his bed..takes a look at the clock on the wall..he grumbles for godsake 2 hours of sleep and takes a moment too wake up.
He looks at his PDA and clicks on the read button and a messages apppears.
Quote:To: Lt-Commander J. Mctyre.
From: Rear Admiral W. Evans.
Location: Westpoint academy.
Subject: commanding a capital vessel.
Goodday Lt-commander.
Congratulations Lt-Commander it seems you are one of those few officers who are selected too get a change too command a cruiser class ship for the navy.
Do not think lightly about this it is not a easy task and the conditions you will face will be more complex than you ever faced until now.
I want too see you in my office for a discussion about youreself and youre perspective before I give you the final permission for the actually commandtraining.
I want too see you at 14:00 hours in my office today.
Signed
R. Admiral walther Evans
Goodlord a admiral wants too speak with me in person...., about a cruiser? He thinks with suprise "Seems my request came trough finnaly". Nice and he takes a look at the clock on the wall again hmm my shift begins in 3 hours anyway, I could take a run now iam awake and grab a bite in the messhall.
And he starts dressing into shorts and a sweatshirt. I wonder what my father would say, he will be surprised when he hears this and he grins in the mirror.
He gets out of his quarters and starts running along the corridor.

Later that day after a boring patrol in New york.
Joe landed his fighter in one of the dockingbays on westpoint academy.
The landingsofficer guided his fighter too the landingplatform, there he shuts down his engines.
Passing 2 navysailors in the corridor they saluted him Joe didnt noticed it, he was deep in thoughts about the letter from rear admiral Evans the current commander of the academy.
He had seen his share of combat against many factions but never a fullscale war.
Most battles he had experienced were fighter to fighter combat and against some small capships mostly gunboats from the order and house pirates.
It is a hardlife, but he likes it as it is on the moment in the navy.
He stopped at a map at the wall to find admiral Evans office. Mmmm he thought, its on the otherside of the station level 8 and he starts walking again.
When he arrived at the admirals office he looked at his uniform was it clean, no unwanted folts?" He straightens his cap and knocked on the door. Enter said a voice with authority, and he opens the door.
On the moment he enters he is stunned. this office is amazing.
On the walls are all kind of drawings of old and new navy ships, a scale model of a carrier is standing in the middle of the room the name plate is LNS-Oklahoma
When he walks further into the office he looks around and noticed that the room is very spartan decorated of furniture the admiral sits behind a large desk with a laptop in front of him.
Than he realiszed that the admiral was judging him, and he prompt jumped straight and saluted him, Lt-Commander Mctyre reporting as orderd sir he said with a ferm voice. At eas commander he said.
He placed his feet a little from eachother and folded his hands on his back.
Lt-Commander you have a excellent record my compliments for that said the admiral. Thank you sir he replyed and a little smile was coming at his face. I ordered you here too talk about youre career son... He stopped for a moment and looked Joe striaght in his eyes I also want too know iff youre aware of the responsibility you get when you asume command. You will be responsible for almost 300 souls and maybe taking some hard decisions who can cost them there life. I think iam up for the task sir Joe answered. Hmm the admiral said Only time can learn us that Lt-commander, but we will help you too understand the basics of commanding a capitalship.
They talked about some other issues the admiral mainly wanted too know Joe a little better as he did with all futher captains of a capital ship.
After about a 45 mins the admiral said Ok Mctyre I got enough information now you will rechieve a message with oure decision soon. He looked out the big window Until than you will still continu serve in the fighter squadrons and fly occasionally with the GB LNS-Gettysburg. ?ye aye sir And he salutes Dismissed commander
Joe leaves the office a bit relaeved that went better than he ecspected. My god this is all I dreamed about before I joined the navy he thinks My own command
He walked back the entire way with a grin on his face, Launched his fighter in space an reported back for duty.
Well from now on I will use my personal log often.
Too many things happen latly.
First of all I got a letter from Rear admiral Evans the commander of Westpoint.
I'am allowed too the training.
Now that is good news.
On the other hand I just heared we lost a entire patrol in the badlands.
My best friend Jonas was the squadronleader who leaded the fightersquadron in there.
Seems they run into a strong rogue/outcast fighter force.
I hate that place.
The memorialservice is tommorow on Fort Bush, we have too appear in oure cerimonial uniforms.
Well I have too report too Westpoint again soon, were I will rechieve my orders.
Seems I have to serve several months aboard on of the battleships missouri, Petersburg or Missisipi, too prove iam ready too take command.
Now iam off too the bar, time too get a drink and honor my friend with my squadronmates.
