You Crimson Cross lads, who don't know me, and, to be honest, are pretty poorly-known by me... we share some common interests. Namely, as the primary representatives of the noble Maltese Nation, you have an interest in seeing the spread of the Orange Dream, and, indirectly, so do I - New York's elite pays quite well for cardamine, as I'm sure you know. And your boys on Ibiza have been more than happy to accept shipments of munitions acquired from Detroit - tax-free, just in case you were wondering. She smiles and runs her hand through her hair.
I hope that this sufficiently elucidates my feelings towards la Nacion. However, I think we could be of even greater help to each other. As a bit of background, my current ship, the Atomquistler, is a solid workhorse, but it could be better. As a Leedswoman, I feel a little iffy flying around in a Kusarian crapbox, even if its acquisition was a nice little story of Bretonian ingenuity - bought at police auction after being intercepted and depressurized with minimal hull damage. And the cargo capacity leaves me wanting. But there's a solution.
Why, though, is this your problem? Well, because I'd love to work with you on this solution. I know you're no fan of the Corsairs, nor of their running dogs in the Hogosha. However, I am a fan of their ship, the Raba. Essentially, what I'm proposing is that if you happen to interdict any Hogosha or Corsair convoys running with a Raba, you do your best to depressurize it with minimal structural degradation and leave it somewhere out of the way, I pick it up and fix it up, pay you handsomely for your kindness, owe you a favor, and nearly doubly the capacity of my operation, which is also most certainly to your benefit. So, what do you say? Think we could make this work out?

Your... "credentials", lets call them, speak to your validity but at present we tend to not bother with the Cretans worthless hulks of welded scrap, beyond reducing them to several smaller portions of said aforementioned scrap.
Signorita Brights, you ask of us a favor with little more to base our trust in you on than what is commonly expected of one dealing with the Maltese Nazione. Your efforts are appreciated, but there is little in the way of justification for providing a favor as you so ask. Military assets are a premium resource and they are not one I go dishing out on a whim.
Now, if you can in some way prove that this little "request" of yours will benefit Malta enough to justify the costs and effort required, then I'm sure something can be worked out. I've no shortage of friends in high and low places but in my experience, maintaining relationships with those that would willingly come to ask for help tends to work well in one's favor.
Take this not as a blatant denial, but more a inquiry as to what it will do to benefit us.
