You cannot use two of the *SAME* mods at the same time. Discovery kinda crashes the game this way.
It's well known that Discovery can work with some of the other mods, but it will *NOT* work with older versions of itself. There will be file version errors, and that will crash the game out.
So, when you install a new version of discovery, you *MUST* first deactivate the older version, then activate the new one.
No other way around this.

em i did wolfpack i deactivated beta 2 and left it there and then activated final 4.80 (which took well over 5minutes ) and it got to the title screen and crashed (I HAVE NO OTHER MODS ACTIVATED) (TAKE IT INTO FACT I BASICALLY DELETED ALL THE STOCK MODS THAT COME WITH FLLMM)

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
Usually, when I have a problem like this, I re-install FLMM, Freelancer, and also, I re-do the mod. However, when re-installing Freelancer, get rid of it, EVERY LITTLE BIT. Go remove the program from the control panel. I've found that some files that are corrupted still run if you just hit re-install.
Hope this helps
