To whom it may concern - or anyone else, for that matter.
This recent conflict was none of my business - for all intents and purposes, I'm a dead man, just trying to find some peace and quiet in the calm before the storm. But it appears I'll be afforded no such luxury, and while I'm not one to turn my back on those I once served with, I'm afraid I have to if it means keeping the house I know and love protected.
This is an image captured by the ESRD reconnaissance vessel Eerie, captained by myself just a few short hours ago. You'll note that this is the infamous Radford Research Station, and you'll forgive the multiple acts of treason I've just committed by showing you the station in such detail. It appears that some subject - probably infected, no less - was apparently broken free of the station and brought aboard a Navy vessel - the LNS Ottawa. Now, I'm not one to make blind assumptions, but given the way in which this vessel acted, I'm reasonably convinced that it was an infected vessel working to secure the "subject" and bring it "home", so to speak. It fled into the Alaska system, and from there on...well, I don't know.
However, I'm making this contact for a more important reason than telling you of a security flaw you probably already knew about. None of the Navy vessels, especially my former ESRD compatriots, seemed to think that this sudden breach in the most secure naval research facility in Sirius was anything more than a minor mishap. They acted sluggishly, carelessly - and, possibly, purposefully to ensure that this infected subject escaped. I'm not one to make assumptions, as I said, but...you can put two and two together.
I don't know if this helps, or if it will only serve to fuel the fire. I only know that my access codes no longer work, and a dead man coming back to life probably isn't going to be treated so well when he leaks Navy secrets. Here's hoping it does something.
Graham out.

That's not a name I ever expected to hear from again. Last I'd heard, you'd gone off the grid more or less permanently - then again, it sounds a lot like what I heard wasn't too far from the truth. At the very least, I'm glad you didn't find yourself caught up on this mess - or, rather, that you didn't get tangled up on the wrong end of things. I've already had the opportunity to 'catch up' with several old associates, in a manner of speaking, and the only silver lining has been that none of them look like they're choking on alien biomass. It doesn't really take away the sting of having to turn my guns on former wingmates, but it helps in its own way.
That intel adds to something we already suspected - or rather, something that we've recently managed to outright confirm. My wing pulled in cold, hard evidence of Nomad influence and infestation among the ranks of the Navy earlier this afternoon - an active artefact of sorts that we recovered from the wreck of the Ottawa. I'm not sure if you already knew, given your decidedly... off-the-grid status, I suppose, but the Fifth Fleet took down that very ship earlier today, assisted in part by an LSF patrol cruiser and my recon wing. I can only guess at what that means specifically, but I can only assume that it means that whatever elements within the Navy have been corrupted, they have at least struggled to rein in all of the Fifth into whatever web they're weaving. Judging by your account, though, it sounds as if there's already enough Nomadic influence present to merit an unprecedented level of crisis.
Whatever you do now, please try to keep yourself safe - and thank you again for what you've done. I'll make sure the information goes to where it's needed most. If you run into trouble out there, Kodiak is potentially the last safe haven left in Liberty - I'd rather see you shot down and dragged into custody than fall victim to the plague currently ravaging through the Navy's ranks.
