The Ministry of Defense has informed Admirals Circle efforts have been agreed by the diet to increase Naval Forces capabilities against external threats.
By the Admiralty knowledge, the construction of the battleship - hull designation B-22 - in Yokohama shipyard is almost completed. The Admiralty has asked Captain Hayashimura Kiyoko to oversee the work of a survey team focused on improving battleships efficiency in uncommon scenarios.
As a result, the Admirals Circle would like to request Samura Heavy Industries to assist that team with its seasoned knowledge and to proceed with the alteration of the standard template on B-22, once a consensus has been reached between Samura experts and the survey team.
This frequency will be kept open to allow Captain Hayashimura Kiyoko to inform you of the details.
We can only hope for Samura's excellency at performing its tasks to make this project a reality.
Respectfully, Office of Admiralty,
Kusari Naval Forces.
After analyzing with a team of experts the current plans for the B-22 in-production battleship, we have concluded a list of potential changes to enhance its abilities to survive and operate in abnormal situations and scenarios. And we hope for your cooperation in the process of modifying the current template for in-production B-22 with your expertise and knowledge in this regard. The plans for the modifications have been attached below.
Type VIII "Kensei" Quadruple-layer Titanium carbide armor shielded by an outer layer of hexagon-shaped ablative segments, supported by reactive elements to minimize kinetic weapon damage
Primary Propulsion System
A-J320 "Jibakurei" Magnetic streamlined Ion-Propulsion Engines
Auxiliary Propulsion Systems
A-J113-K3 "Oni" Microfusion Maneuvering Engines
Cloaking Device
EM-Wave “Hanzō” Stealth Generator
The changes are primarily focused on altering the interior structure of the battleship to increase it's efficiency on long range missions. As presented in the plans, sections for research labs will be built in the front part of the battleship, as well as an additional med-bay. And as you can see, one of the main focuses of the modifications is to enhance and strengthen the armor of the battleship with minimum expense in the regard of mobility.
We will be looking forward for your cooperation in reaching a conclusion for the potential modifications for the B-22, and putting them into effect afterwards, if your expert have any comments or suggestions, I am willing to listen. Otherwise, we should start compiling a list of all the required resources.

Konnichiwa Hayashimura-san,
Improvements in ship design brings us one step closer to perfection. In the initial sets things tend to get overlooked but that is why we are all here and can get together to mix our experiences and upgrade any potential design disadvantage.
The plans and modifications you have presented are efficient and can easily be implemented. The only thing I could suggest is adding secondary systems aka redundancies to power reactor and shield generator which will be isolated from the main ones to be used in case of emergencies.
It's an all round well done plan for upgrading the ship design besides that. I look forward to our mutual cooperation in completing this task given to us by Office of Admiralty of the Kusari Naval Forces.

Thank you for your response. Your suggestion would be beneficial to battleship's performance, so implementing those systems will be part of the modifications plans as well.
After studies, we have come up with a list and quantity of materials that are required to perform these modifications, we would like for Samura Industries to deliver the following materials as soon as possible.
Code:
10,000 tonnes of Aluminium
12,000 tonnes of Cobalt
5,000 tonnes of Ablative Armor Plating
7,000 tonnes of Berylium
4,000 tonnes of Ship Hull Panels
In addition, the 66th are in need for some supplies for an operation in the near future. And we would also like for your organization to assist by delivering the following set of supplies to
Code:
5,000 crates of Med-Stasis Bands
4,000 crates of Pharmaceuticals
4,000 crates of Food Rations
The faster these commodities are delivered the faster the improvements are made and thus the sooner we can begin our operations. Your aid and assistance are most appreciated.

Konnichiwa Hayashimura-san,
I am extremely sorry for causing you this inconvenience and setbacks in the plans. Unexpected events happening in Nagano and Sigma-17 have drastically reduced availability of my time.
To the matter of our join project and the requested materials. I have already assigned and dispatched transports needed for these deliveries. The designated location for these materials is Matsue Base. Transport convoys will be arriving shortly.
Sayōnara,
Director of Interstellar Assets, Yuto Nagatomo
Allow me to express my gratitude for fulfilling this contract, despite the slight delay. With the required resources and materials at hand, our engineers can finally start completing the modifications to the Matsuyama, as they already had started.
I will make sure to contact your respected corporation for any further contracts we may have. Thank you.
