____ MESSAGE
Paladin Tantalus,
I'm surprised that it's in tact, albeit in such horrendous shape. Interesting how most of the crew were already dead when you had arrived, but no matter. It's a shame its commanding officer did not survive. I had questions about his motives. I'm sure you're aware that we had our suspicions about his escapade and idea. Now it seems it doesn't matter.
In the next few days, I'll be arriving to handle the matter personally with the Arktos. More than likely, the ship will be salvaged for components, given its current status from the report you've given us. I'll be taking a closer look at its logs to determine exactly what occurred. I'll need to secure some shipyard space and safe passage. If its secondary thruster is operational, then we should have no problem moving the vessel - albeit slowly, to safer territory.
In the meantime, be advised of any other vessels in the region. It sent out a general distress call on all frequencies, so something else may decide to investigate what happened and why it suddenly stopped broadcasting. You may even run in to your old associates, and I'm sure you know not to risk yourself, your crew or your vessel under any circumstance.
For now, return to the Expeditionary fleet and resume your duties.
