My name is Sanada Junko, former Commander in the Naval Forces and currently working as a mercenary for various employers.
I doubt you remember me, although we actually met in New York system over a year ago, and had rather casual talks on that very occasion.
However, I do remember you letting me know that 'there might be opportunities within the Legion for me', to quote you verbatim. If that offer still stands, I am willing to take it.
As for my reasons, let's just say I am not exactly welcome in Bretonia right now, and would be fine with finding a safe harbor for some time. I'm confident your organization would find a way to use my competences to their advantage.
Do let me know if you are interested with advancing this further.
Sanada-san,I remember you. I'm currently writing this from a holding cell onboard a Maltese 72nd vessel. I'm not sure exactly which at this point, there have been a lot of transfers. The 'why' doesn't matter too much, I'm not here against my will and I've done some things that warrant a deeper investigation into my actions. The 72nd are fair and just, and I won't object to their ruling. The 'cell' itself is really just quarters under armed guard, not a brig proper. I've been treated well so far at least, and they've sealed off the Cardamine vents to my room.
Anyway, there's work for you within the Legion, certainly. Whether you want to act as a full Legionnaire or as an independent contractor is up to you, but I'm not really in a position to be of much help right now. Send a communique to Admiral Derek Smith or Admiral Jordan Lancaster, I'm sure one of them will help you get yourself acclimated.
Those news are troubling. I was no picturing you as someone willing to compromise with Outcasts. But that 72nd group does ring a bell; exiled outcasts opposed to Cardamine trade? I might have met one near Freeport 6, long ago.
Regardless, that is none of my business.
I will try contacting the two persons you mentioned.
