I don't see how the activity tracker and feedback threads are related to each other which seems to be the case the OP.
Does this mean a faction with a busy feedback is marked as active?
Jokes aside. The complains these days are completely sheit.
People should play the game more instead of whining about the slightest of things, especially when it doesn't even harm them.

Maybe he just tried to announce that factions no longer require to log in order to keep the official status in the same post . . .
People want to believe that God has a plan for them.
They don't wanna believe that anyone else does..

I don't think its removing the tracker in a literal sense, more like removing it as the sole gauge of a factions activity.
Implementing a measure of gauging the flame that a faction reaps to measure its activity is rather flawed, but I think you all know that.
Since we reached officialdom, NC has not had a feedback thread. I did the same with the Vagrants for a single reason: I cannot be assed to deal with non-helpful, snide crap. If people have a genuine desire to improve others, they will contact via Skype, but they don't because feedback threads are more of an outlet to let people do trial by forum legally.
Of course, since they're mandatory now, I will need to establish one for my faction. However, I believe this is a step in the wrong direction.

I can only sign this. That's a huge mistake you do there and I will take myself the right to ignore useless "Q_Q" without any answer from my factions sides. If we get consequences for ignoring non-constructive, blunt drama-making only "wannabe feedback" in the future we all know what this says about Disco.
Otherwise Foxglove is fully right, people who wanted to really give useful Feedback used Skype to contact either the leader of someone out of the HC.
Is it really worth making unnecessary almost only drama causing threads for every official faction? I say no it's not.
Out of 10 Feedback posts roughly 8 are Q_Q about some pews ingame, how is this going to help the community? It's just going to make things worse, mind my words.. oh why am I discussing? The staff won't listen to any of us anyways unless like 50 people sign that we should revert this change.
All rules and regulations concerning faction creation procedure and home system claiming are listed in Faction Creation Rules thread. If an official player faction has only 1-2 active members, its status is changed to suspended. Suspended faction has 4 weeks to regain lost numbers, otherwise its existence comes to an end. Administrators also reserve the right to limit recruiting for certain official player factions for a certain period of time to keep server factions balanced. All official factions must have a public feedback thread in this section. Feedback must be responded to and dealt with accordingly, with or without the involvement of the administration team.
Regarding this here. I will not accept being in need to respond to, excuse my words, utter sh.. no wait.. things that want nothing more than cause drama and problems. (Maybe reporting it as trial-by-forum is a good way to deal with it, depending on the case for sure)
Otherwise it's no issue to respond to it but Spazzy, really. Give us the possibility to ignore the 80% of ""Feedback"" we saw in Feedback threads everyday so far. How is drama caused by the misuse of Feedback Threads to blame someone (usually these posts are even not against the faction but just some members!!!!) going to help a community which is crippling more and more recently? Didn't the Admins notice that way more people left the server after a long time here in this community without a leaving thread? It was caused mainly due to drama and Feedback threads whom leaders/factions have to reply to ANYTHING will only harm the community further.
I will go make feedback threads now where I state that senseless non-constructive Q_Q will be ignored.
People use feedback threads as discussion threads, too, which is not the point. A feedback post is a single post detailing the issue and how it could be solved. That is it. Nothing further is needed or called for.
You do not need to respond to the thread. You need to simply deal with the feedback, one way or another. By yourself or with admin intervention, if it comes to that.

Well then, gives us atleast enough freedom to decide ourselves what is Feedback and what not, will still give people the warning in the thread.
