I do believe I can fly.

Well, if it isn't Adam Watson, the one man in the Navy with principles. I'm just calling you up because you're someone who knows their priorities. I mean, you actually went ahead and chose to rescue civilians than fight a menacing piratical scumbag. That makes you someone worth keeping an eye on.

Here's the thing: Seeing as you, in your own words, find any pursuit of me to be a "wild goose chase", I am willing to turn over the pilots of civilian ships I have destroyed in exchange for you not trying to catch me at all. You Navy boys can't stop me, but we're all civilized human beings in the end.

I mean, this way they're not on a slow ride to Malta, feeding the Outcasts more cheap labor. Just something to think about.

Take the time to think about it.

Lady Holt,

I appreciate that you took time to write me. Lone patrol can be boring and often we're stuck between two chairs when it's come to decision making. As you can imagine, when flying alone, i have to make decision that can be life threatening for me or citizens of Liberty.

*grin*

This being said, i thank you for the compliment about principles. All navy members have a duty to accomplish but foremost obligation towards the citizen of the Republic. With all due respect, yes i do have respect for everybody including criminals, i think you should leave the crime life. You're still young and the shadow of the war will soon engulf everybody in Liberty.

If you we're really the "menacing piratical scumbag" you claim to be, you wouldn't have complied so fast. You knew your ship was faster and more agile than mine and could have easely escaped me with those citizen and yet, you gave them willingly to me. Maybe it was because personnal ego or a test of my dedication but i prefer thinking that you knew exactly what i would do.

Anyway, as you know, i got a work to do, we all do in this time of strive. The safety of the citizens is one of the priority for the navy as a whole and if you persist in your actions against them and the republic, our path will cross again. Sure thing, i never met a pirate with enough courtesy to actually show some respect for the uniform.... and the man inside.

Wish we will meet under better omen.
