''Yes'' he squeaked, slowly regaining his composure ''Yes I'm fine. Just, a little warm is all.'' He wandered down to her door before turning to her ''If you need me, I'll be in the music room''
Caroline raised her eyebrows, but accepted his explaination.
- Very well. I will get myself changed and join you in the music room, if you don't mind. - she said, stopping by the door - At what time exactly is the dinner?
''Seven O'Clock I believe, or that is the time we should be there at least, to be polite. It would give you a chance to meet the family, if you're interested of course.'' he said slowly walking backwards. ''I think there are some fresh formal clothes to be found in the wardrobe, if you want to wear them. Or you can just, change into something you bought, up to you.''
- Thank you, but I think I will use my own. Though, if you do not mind. - she paused a second. - Is today's dinner a formal event? - she then asked, a little hesitantly.
He stopped walking, a puzzled look crossing his face. He didn't even consider what kind of dinner it would be, but he made a safe bet that Alfred would insist that it was formal. ''Yes...Yes I believe it will be.'' he said ''Or at least tidy casual. But, better to come overdressed than under-dressed I think'' Whatever it was, he intended to wear something nice. He had to ensure that he made a good impression, if nothing else.
