Biography:My name is Violia Sikk. I was born on Planet Manhattan in a middle-class family. My mother was a housewife, and my father worked as a Captain in the LPI. I lived life fairly comfortably, and eventually found my first job; Working as a waitress in a diner near the main spaceport hub of Manhattan. Of course, as is the story of many people born planetside, wanderlust got the better of me, and I signed up for the LPI just before my nineteenth birthday, with the blessing of my father. He found me a comfortable position as one of the bridge crew of a Liner, escorted heavily every day. The first few months were spent training, and a good year after that was working as a communications officer on the bridge. I looked damn good in blue. The captain retired soon, though, and I found myself taking his position as the captain of the ship. Those heavy escorts we came to depend on became one or two wingmen however, and I soon took a crash course in a game commonly named 'Dodge the torpedo'. It wasn't long before the liner went from taking broadside torpedos, to avoiding them with huge distances of space (A whole three meters) between it and the hull.
The dangerous game of torpedo dodging came to a bit of an end after a while, one making a mess of the bridge on a very unfortunate trip. Nearly losing a hand to shrapnel, I took some time off, and eventually retired. But I had already experienced the thrill of commanding such ships. Perhaps it was the pride I felt, having the ability and trust to command a crew. Using most of my savings, and as well as taking out a hefty loan for a Bison, I started working under contract for Interspace, Ageira, and most recently, DSE. Come near the end of my DSE contract, I found myself more and more wanting to aid the Navy and LPI in their endeavours against the growing pirate threats. And finally, after refitting my vessel, the Energia, I am prepared to assist our forces in any way possible, in hopes of a better, happier Liberty.
