My name is James Knocks, or just Knocks if you feel like it. I was born on Planet Houston, which is where many Bounty Hunters and lawful hunters are born from....mostly. I was born there to, to a Bounty Hunter family. My father, Micheal, leader of a group called Wolfpack, group of Elite Hunters mainly operating in Liberty. Couple years ago, they both died from a pirate ambush, and they took me in as a prisoner thinking someone would buy me out for money. Many didn't know me, only my sister Diana, who didn't know what happened.
After 3 months, I was given a choice, death or work for them. I decided working for them was the only way to not be like the previous prisoners who were there. I was sent to their training academy, where they taught me hand to hand combat and then later on pilot skills. When I turned 18, they sent me out on missions to take out Liberty pilots who bothered them. Everyday when I was awaken to do a mission, I regret every move I did and agreed to. Sometimes I felt the point where giving up was the only way. Killing innocent people isn't in my blood, and there would be no way I could be changed. Now I am 19, almost 20, the day I was sent to do another mission, is the day I decided they will use their clean hands to do that themselves.
The mission wasn't easy, and I was given 2 pilots to come with me for 100% completion. almost 15k from the coords that were uploaded to my navigational system, I decided this was the only way out of this. I didn't bother talking to the other two with me, as they met my " Roc " Bombers Antimatter Cannon pretty fast. I closed all and any communication I had with the pirate group, and made a run for it. I stayed on Bethlehem Station for safety all these months, then I decided to go and start earning some money. I cooled down a bit, made sure they forgot about me, and started looking for work I can do. As you know, money isn't infinite....
Recently, I have met a couple of Primary Fleet Pilots, who influenced me to do something different then whats in my blood line. I have watched the amounts of civilians die, suffer for no reason, and those who made me do it against my own. Moving on, I asked mainly Mr Christopher Hood of the Primary Fleet for a job to kill a Mercenary who seemed to be one of the old Flare Mercenarys. Mr Hood said he would handle it, and well he did, very nicely to be specific. The Flare blew into dust like no tomorrow. Seeing the risks all these pilots take to protect Liberty is worth or should be worth more then a whole army of those who mean one thing, kill everyone they see and who gets in their way.
I am afraid of denial, like I told Admiral Polstari when we met in the Kepler system, but we have to overcome our fears one day or another. I have little hope that I would be picked out of all of the applications you probably get. My background is what ruins me, and if I can change one thing, its that my past never happened and I could live normal again.
