Greetings Liberty Navy,
I am Ex-NGS (National Guard Services) Commander Jack Murdoch, I am contacting you to join the ranks of the Liberty Navy due to the collapse of the NGS quite recently.
My Personal History:
I was born on Planet Manhattan to the parents, Samuel Murdoch and Barbara Shaw in a small appartment opposite the space port in West Manhattan, my father was a LPI pilot serving many years within the Police fighting the scurge that had infected Liberty. My mother was a nurse in the local hospital serving in the Outpatients Department and sometimes serving within the A&E ward.
The first experience of flying was when I was 17 when I went with a convoy of Interspace to Planet Houston within the Texas system, my father was the head escort of this convoy and kept an eye on me even though the length of the trip was short. This late but first experience in a ship was the best feeling I had ever felt, since that moment I longed to be in the vastness of space.
When I was 21 I applied to West Point Military Academy and took a five year course, I passed this with honours, my father was extremely proud of me and bought me my first ship, the civilian light fighter (Starflier).
I finally raised enough credits to buy another ship, the Viper Mk 2, which i believe is now discontinued, and went around offering my services as a freelance military officer, I did this for around 3 years. As soon as I had my 28th birthday I came back to Liberty and started freelancing around Liberty space, I flew with many Liberty Navy pilots whilst doing this and gained experience behind the helm of a ship.
5 years later and with the raising concerns of a war between Rheinland and Liberty I decided to form the National Guard Services who acted as the navy's back up if needed, also protecting shipping frieght within Liberty's border.
The concerns were correct and the war started with the NGS near the frontlines flying wing to wing with Liberty Navy pilots. My NGS pilots acted very bravely and galiantly in the face of battle, we destroyed numerous Rhienland capital vessels and thier escorts, I am proud of the pilots I commanded.
The NGS has currently stopped its activity within Liberty due to the fact that the lack of interset went from alot to none, I only had a few skilled and loyal pilots left, I told them to go and seek their destinies throughout Sirius. This is the reason why I am applying for the Liberty Navy now.
