Born 787 A.S on Planet Denver to a wealthy family. He had a good upbringing in the Kapinos estate. With lots of servants changing diapers and what-not, the Kapinos family never had a fear nor worry in life.
In 791 A.S the Kapinos family had a daughter, Nina. Nina and Hank were very close throughout the years, practically best friends. As time passed by Hank found himself in a college with lots of friends, thus Hank and Nina grew apart slowly.
In 809 A.S on a rainy summer afternoon he got the news. His sister, Nina, had been killed in an accident. She had been away with her friends on a trip to Kusari and the ship she was in had been leaking oxygen. The careless captain had already passed out before he knew what was going on.
Sadness weighed heavily in the Kapinos estate for a long time, but life passed on, and Nina would always have a place in Hank's heart.
Patrick was a strict but understanding father that knew what he wanted. He had it in his mind from the very beginning that his son, Hank Kapinos, would become a marine.
And as his father wanted, Hank joined the Liberty Marine Corps at the age of 25. This didn't work out however, he was not marine material but with his father's money and influence he was allowed to stay. In reality, he wanted out, and did everything he could to get kicked out.
He finished his marine training despite all attempts to get kicked out and was placed in a small marine squad aboard a Liberty Gunboat.
During an attack on the crew of a downed Rogue Gunboat on Planet Pittsburgh he got to thinking. He'd rather be up there, in space, fighting the good fight.
