After a 4yr hiatus I've decided to dip my toes in the water and make a return to disco.
Still deciding what to do in the game but for now am exploring the sector from scratch to see what's changed under a new character Zekk.Chias
Many of my old playing buddies seem to have a left but I've seen a few familiar faces still active on the forums.
For those of you (being the majority) whom I've not met before, when I last played last the majority of my RP interactions was under leading two factions: Platinum|- an unofficial DSE ID'd faction but we were getting close to the stage of applying for officialdom, once the rules on more than 1 official faction per ID was lifted. And secondly I was a keen LR- member, eventually leading the faction for some time. I'm sad to see that they're no longer official or as active as they were, but I guess that's what happens with an aging game. I also had fun playing GC & a variety of other roles in a more casual manner.
Anywho, I'll likely be playing much more casually than the last time. After letting disco, and then later EVE Online take over my life, I've hopefully come round to taking a more mature attitude on life and gaming time management! I look forward to seeing you peeps in space!
EDIT: - Was the Humboldt system removed? I couldn't find it anymore.
- Also another question. With the Liberty-Rheinland war over, I'm now assuming that the main front for semi large scale conflict is on the Bretonia/Liberty-Galia borders. If so, is there much activity there, and is 1 side consistantly outnumbering the other? I've not played much as lawful military forces and might want to give it a try. But I would want to join the underdogs, wouldn't want to accidentally add to the gank power of a larger force.
Welcome back to disco. Yes its gallia vs bretonia, liberty, council, CR. Recently gallia got zoi in california and a glorious respawn enabled battle was fought yesterday. I forsee fun times ahead
