To be honest, if you cannot write post that contains these 50 characters as minimal - you shouldn't be on the roleplaying forum in the first place. But that's just my honest opinion as a writer.

Sometimes people need to be blunt and it hasn't ever been a problem before.

I was writing about people who seem to be incapable to spend some time to type down these 50 characters. If they, instead of whining on "how bad this limit is", actually realized they can put some effort into the post that is not on the level of first year of primary school - that would resolve a lot of what sometimes is wrong with the community.
If someone cannot write a simple post around 50 characters, I am not sure what he or she is even doing in here.
