Quick heads up.
With a few incoming changes to equipment, 4.4 has been appended with lines regarding equipment and ship use. 4.5 has been split off with its own line as to not confuse players with IDs overriding server rules that override the IDs.
New lines read as such:
Quote:4.4 Every char must have only one type of ID equipped and they must play to that ID. Ship and equipment infocards which specify their use on a specific ID or specific ship must only be used on that ID or ship. In all other cases where these restrictions and allowances conflict with the server rules, the ID overrides the rules except as described in 4.5
4.5 Nomads are allowed to be engaged by all non-nomad IDs regardless of engagement rights except for the Neutral and Recruit IDs.
This applies to nomad ships, nomad-id specific equipment, zoner whales and any future gear or ships that are to be used by certain IDs or certain ships.

So people can engage Nomads even if they are not within their ZoI, like KNF in the Omicrons? If so, that's pretty good. I remember I asked about this at some point and it was still tied to ZoI.
No.
Your ID needs to have a line regarding engaging nomads ''anywhere'' or ''both within and outside of their ZOI''
Engagement rights reflect your ability to attack players either in self defense or for certain IDs.

Then it might be good idea to simply add "within ZoI" to rule, as right now, it does look like sirius-wide allowance.
