The Core have earmarked the Corsair Miners Tavern for destruction. This 8 hours ago, and as it is a Core 1, is able to be attacked at any time. Can I call upon your assistance?
Why are they attacking your little base? It is really good for far more reasons than not. It isn't a faction built base, so why not leave it there and harass the miners. Once its gone, the small solo operators will simply stop.
*the young woman reads this lovely piece of literature, then shrugs*
You mean to tell me that The Core, fighting a war against the Corsairs, would attack a Corsair civilian target, especially considering exactly what they did to the Corsair settlements on Nauru? If anything, they should be going after that very visible place, Puerto del Sol, but that's too big for them, so they'll settle for a piece of what I assume to be Corsair power projection into a very lucrative mining field. In their shoes, I'd probably raze the place too. Sorry, Paddy, but space is dangerous.
You shoot a ship it gets respawned. This taverna, obviously won't. As far as an opportunity to catch corsairs, this is a honey pot that attracts them. Core or whoever would be better to use it as bait and hit the ships. The fun goes on and repeated.
Also it has the potential for a far more negative effect to destroy it, if you know what I mean. A lot of good has come out of this little Taverna... for all. It may give the Core a little giggle, but I suggest the negative impact would be far worse. It starts to become a very unpleasant unsavory thing. Core's base by FP11 was built by them. They would surely have known they would come under attack.
This Taverna is a simple legitimate solo operation, totally built by Paddy from scratch. Granted it is a risky venture, and kudos for Paddy getting permission to run her pub. But seriously? I doubt if she can defend it as TBH et al... it doesn't hurt them if it is destroyed, but a LOT of small traders would be. Including the owner.
Actually, that's our specialty. Just like getting drunk and go berserk. Maybe build your next bar on Crete, so we can drink there. Better than setting up a station in space without any defenses or sense for the political and military dangers out there, hombre, si?

Mucho nice Taberna
Senor Paddy,
Don't listen to all this people long gone to siesta and never returned to el work. There is one law here in Sparta and it would be Council of Elders, enforced by mucho glorious Carabineros in their fully armed Decurions, if you don't mind. In case we notice any foreign capital fleet approaching our planet, we will unleash Mighty Armada too, to give them warm plasma welcome to our beautiful khaki-colored system.
However, there would be a tiny problem with your base, Senor Paddy. It is Corsair property, but it's not yet registered by Imperial citizen. We noticed some Junker ships sneaking around it and due to our mucho awesome relations with Junkers - we didn't ask so many questions. But let me ask now, with all the respect:
- what Corsair owns this Taberna?
- does he/she have any Corsair ships registered?
- why can't I find his (or yours) name listed even in our s.k.y.p.e frequencies registers?
- are you a foreign citizen with ownership of el Corsair base, after all? Who gave it to you? And why is there no Nutella jars on my desk, to sweaten el deal?
I'm sure our capable Cretan administrative personnel will solve this tiny issue in a mucho short period, Senor. Giving us your s.k.y.p.e contact would be a good start.
P.S. Senor Alberto Rodrigo Sanchez... I see you are always close to your comm devices. Your pro-bono-publico advising Sirius citizens is very appreciated. But will your parking tickets vanish this way?
Muchos gracias,

I'm pretty sure we've never met, El Comisario. As long as that amigo doesn't pay for efforts, I rather do my casual runs in Omega-3 and hit on some Bretonian traders instead of wasting my time on some random space taberna.
Oh, wait, I did meet you in space. You showed your left ball to one of your wingmen. Short time later I was shot down by three Rheinland fighters and a battleship.

Brave bombarderos
Senor Sanchez,
why didn't you come to me before? All your parking tickets are missing now from your file. Your bravery was noticed, same way you noticed how did I encourage my wing-men. Be free to admit it was very effective, concerning your sudden berserk against four enemies. *feels proud*
In case you feel like putting your skills to my capable hands, simply do as advised HERE , por favor!
Muchos gracias,

Dear Pepe "El Comisario" Ladron Hola!
Te saludo muy excelente Señor Ladron
It is I, Senorina Paddy.
I built the Corsair Miners Taverna. I run it, and am the "go to" person. Technically it is owned by me, as I financed, planned and constructed it. Legally it is considered Corsair Property as it is in Gamma, is for corsairs and in particular the small family operators who sole trade to make a living. It comes under your jurisdiction I think.
It is not a military facility and it is, at my request, kept demiliterised. It is not for violence.
I did ask permission to build the taverna and it was granted through the agency of The Brotherhood. The Corsair Taverna is under the authority of The Brotherhood, and I abide to their requests. They can ask for tax, cash or in kind. I have often trucked many 10's of thousands of artifacts to Puerto del Sol at no charge to pay my dues.
Only corsair miners are to operate as independent sole operators. They mine and transport their own ore.
Cosechas lo que siembras.
Some prefer to simply mine and then sells the artifacts to the Pub, where sanctioned traders can buy the goods. Others have built up a small but beneficial enterprise both mining and then distributing it for greater profit.
There is no charge for the use of the Taverna by the miner. And I make no profit off the sales of artifacts that the taverna buys. I contract exclusively to a miner who operates Correo-M-02 whom I buy off. He was a struggling family man who I bought a correo for to help him start through the Small Business Enterprise, a not-for-profit neutral organisation I started. He, in turn, has literally paid for others to be able to set up. Receive a blessing, give a blessing. All benefit.
As a junker you know we are out to make a profit. The financial profit for me is by the returning transports buying Premium scrap off me in Texas. A win, win, win situation as you, most astute Senor Ladron, would appreciate and admire.
The other profit I make is the sense of great joy to see those who struggle to make a livelihood successful, such as those families of Gamma. It is priceless.
I do not know this "Nutella" but we do serve ouzo and my favourite drink, Junkers Joy.
Senor Ladron. I ask you, I beg you, can you seek to remove the threat on the Taverna?
