Quote:If people want to make money in the same household, they can pick up bounty hunting or piracy.
That's the funniest thing I ever read. Bounty Hunting system is somewhat broken as owners do not do or want to do their job properly (there are like two or even no unlawful boards, for example) and that still require degree of skills to even claim any bounty against other player. As for piracy, I'd heavily be careful with such a statement, cause piracy has never been as profitable as ore mining or even shipping normal stuff. And I'm writing that as a guy who pirated for 5-6 years already.
This is so true, giving the circumstances it is a bit unfair to the people that want to play together and earn some credits. This rule is a great obstacle to them. I get the multiboxing prevention is important but, as someone already wrote above, in these times you can do it in many other ways and not get caught. Why should people who want to enjoy the game and play together suffer because of the ignorance of others who pull unfair advantage over something so trivial. This should be solved in some way, maybe the very rule edited or at least forum thread made where you can apply and explain the situation. Regards peeps.

When you know how to do it, it is profitable, obviously not nearly as trading or mining, but profitable nonetheless. But hey, you do love to derail thread to trash bounty hunting system out of the blue. Maybe you could start a thread about it but not wipe it after first response that argues against your opinion.
If you want to fly together, as people in the same House, then do not fly in Formation. It is very difficult for someone flying 2 different Ships, not in formation, at the same time.
If Ships are seen flying in formation, all the time, then it does tend to look very suspicious to Members of the Community and tends to get reported.
A mining Ship and Transport tends to be a bit more difficult to tell, hence why we have made it against the Rules.

@SnakThree You said that they can do bounty hunting or piracy, I stated that it is not as profitable as trading - especially in the latter case when you pirate as two people and have to split credits in half during piracy demand that usually oscilates around 4-5 million total. That's way less than a 20 minute route done in Mammoth.
It wasn't my intention to derail if you see it as such. Sorry if you felt that way and you were offended by that.
Toris and SnakThree, if you want to carry on this conversation, please take it somewhere else. It is not relevant to the question posed

Situation: 2 people in same household, playing over the same internet
Scenario 1:
1. is flying say Gunboat (or some other form of combat ship)
2. has Trader ship
As you said earlier, they can play together, as long as they do not use formation.
Scenario 2:
- Trader docks on base near mining field (or POB) switches to miner character.
- Miner and Combat vessel go to mining field.
- Miner mines and jettisons ore in space, while the combat vessel stays on guard, for possible NPC/Player hostiles
- Miner flies to nearest base, while combat vessel is still on guard, protecting the mined ore.
- Miner switches to Trader character and flies to mining field to tractor in the ore.
- Then they both depart to sell point destination.
Scenario 3:
1. has miner ship, filling transports that come to the mining field/selling the ore directly to POB.
2. has combat vessel, protecting the miner
Scenario 4:
Both players have mining ships, filling transports that come to the mining field/selling the ore directly to POB.
Although I think most will not be allowed, I would like to see clear statement. Thanks in advance
How difficult is it to understand that if 2 Ships are flying independently, that it is almost certain that they are being flown by two different people?
Now what we have seen in the past, is 2/3 or more Ships, that are being flown constantly in formation. When they get to a Planet or the otherside of a JG/JH, they all sit, not moving, whilst one at a time they form up/dock whilst the others do nothing.Another thing is when someone speaks to them, you only get one that answers.
In the mining part, we have seen a Transport turn up, at the field, sit there doing nothing whist a miner suddenly logs in, flies out fills the Transport (when you speak to them, only the Miner answers back), the Miner heads back to dock somewhere, still leaving the Transport sat there until the Miner docks, then the Transport starts moving.
So the long and short of it all is, that if it is obvious that the Ships are being flown by TWO or MORE people, then it is not a problem.
Does that answer your question without having to go through 1000 different scenarios?

That explains a lot,thx m8
But i hv one special condiction: what if i want to give some goods, like codename guns for example,to another player. Is that legal?
