Am I the only person who thinks razors are almost useless? Ive been popping bombers/fighters with basics for so long, why the hell would I mount razors

I have to say I agree with the Cruiser Razor in a CODENAME weapon form, it is an overpowered weapon if in the hands of someone who knows how to use it effectively. People are saying it is an OP weapon please nerf, but you can still insta kill snubs with double Light mortar or 2 pulse cannon and 1 light mortar. But with the razor you are risking weapons for anti-snub instead of anti-cap. So i believe it should be bought back in a codename form and make it restricted to only 1 or 2 codename slots per cruiser, battlecruiser and battleships/dreads/carriers
I think the biggest reason a lot of folks don't want Cruiser Razors returning is due to the fact that previously, their projectile speed was higher than a light mortar, making them far more accurate. They also had a significantly lower power consumption per shot, meaning that there was far less a penalty for the cruiser's power core on a missed volley.
If Cruiser Razors *had* to return, I would say they should cost far more energy than the previous rendition. Either that, or create a Razor-Shotgun blast that fires 5 projectiles all at once so that you're hoping *one* of the projectiles hits, rather than hoping to unfairly one-shot someone with a 900m/s projectile on a cruiser hull. Yes, you can "unfairly" one shot someone with a SNAC, but it only travels at 280m/s, and it's on a bomber, which can be countered with a single fighter or gunboat, rather than a cruiser which usually requires a group or another cruiser to take down.
It could be a Battlecruiser weapon, given the fact that BCs are in most cases far larger than their cruiser counter-parts, which makes them easier to counter with bomber torpedoes. Still.. It's a bag of mixed feelings.
The Cruiser Razor had 2k range and was a staple of my BC playstyle (my 3-Razor Bullhead was amazingly good due to its Heavy placement)
I could literally walk into a cloud of snubs and munch on them at little to no risk to myself, or at least be guaranteed at least one of them being removed as a casualty, no saves allowed.
The Razor, simply put, was too good for its intended role.
It's like Matt Ward Codices in 40k. Well-balanced internally (hot cap on cap action), completely game-wrecking against enough other peeps to warrant those wanting balance to take a look (instantly slays snubs with little to no effort, and outranges SNACS).
