I hope that is formal enough, I actually don't know how kusarian princesses are to be adressed. I do have some questions, if you don't mind.
1. What do you know about this John Silverstone guy? I know he is somehow related to the Lane Hackers, either dealing with them or he is one of them in the lower circles. He said himself he was trying to find me and my girlfriend and pretty much blew his cover with that, as only the Lane Hackers are after us. To explain that: Auxesia claimed we were infected, they told that to the Lane Hackers, then we actually moved to Auxesia and have them check us and then they realized they fucked up and ruined our reputation over nothing. We know Auxesia shared the corrected information with other factions to redeem us, however the Lane Hackers didn't cease their hostilities against us, which is why we're extremely careful about them right now. Which is the reason why I ask you about John Silverstone. I'd be willing to pay for valuable information on him, if that makes it more attactive to you. Which leads me to the other question.
2. What are you raising funds for and what services do you offer as 'Freelancer'? Money happens to be one of the few resources I have plenty of and every now and then I reliable people to get work done, from little escort jobs over exploration and scouting and in worst-case-scenarios, assassinations. Luckily that last case has never been reached. Maybe we can help each other here and there with some things.
Apart from that, what about Bretonia? Are you not working with the Gaians anymore?
Jokes aside, I actually know little about the person you are referring to. You certainly noticed how rarely that stalker speaks about himself.
However, I do recall of strong ties with the Order in a distant past, as well as topics related with Autonomous Intelligence.
I cannot give you more details, logs related to those subjects were either located in the black-boxes of long sold or destroyed ships, or stored in backups located in Kusari.
The stalker has been useful in the past. He also caused me quite some trouble.
That's not someone you can trust, as you already guessed. The man is driven by his pathological need for attention... Female attention; and while posing as someone looking for women's affection, his own flaws prevent him from beginning a normal relationship with someone. In others words, a loony stalking every single woman he encounters, posing as their friend and claiming to be willing to support them, only to forget about them the second another woman enters his scanner range.
But that's not very different from the modus operandi of most males, hm? You guys brain is located downward after all...
Anyway, I suppose this is exactly what is happening with Lane Hackers. That Nicole Hunter is probably taking advantage of him by exploiting the flaws of his characters to make him do whatever she wants. I very much doubt Lane Hackers would be foolish enough to accept that kind of unpredictable person within their ranks.
That said, I do appreciate your interest for the services I could provide. I mainly acted as a mercenary since my departure from House Kusari. My combat experience during my time in the Naval Forces was very valuable for some people. I also acted as a hunter of unusual material, courier and Intel gatherer, among others things...
But the question is not what I can do. It would rather be whether or not you can be trusted, to me. I know nothing about your own goals and whose organizations you support. You mentioned some issues with Lane Hackers, people I'd never trust. You also mentioned Auxesia.
Be a gentleman and tell me more about yourself before we can even consider working together, please?
As for that mention of Gaians, I'm not sure to understand. Maybe you are confusing me with someone else?
You're right, your highness, I never introduced myself really.
My name is Ezrael Vertiga, biologist, teacher, hobby hoverbiker, there are many things I could say here, but to sum it up: Billionaire and researcher. And most importantly, I'm unaffiliated to any bigger group. I've spent a good amount of time in the Omicrons in the last two years, studying the regional environments, events and species, the latter being the reason for quite a lot of complications. Nomads. I once was part of the Core as I thought they would be the best bet in the fight against the Nomads, however circumstances like the Core-Zoner-Conflict have lead to my defection, together with many others who weren't too keen about killing innocent people, and other Zoners.
My research on the Nomads made Auxesia curious, and they started suspecting me of being infected or under nomad influence and spread those suspicions, which eventually lead to massive problems as they ruined my reputation for a certain amount of time. To fix it, I did what I mentioned earlier, went to Auxesia and got scans that prove that I am not infected. Nevertheless they weren't happy the results and simply dislike the fact that there are people out there who don't want to play pawn in their game of chess. Auxesia is literally all about manipulation, and if you don't play along, they will try to make you play along. I guess you could say the same about the Lane Hackers.
My goals? Currently nothing, really. I always look for opportunities to make some additional money or gather additional assets, which often requires hiring some people who support those efforts. With other words: I'm your stereotypical opportunist. If you want a piece of the cake, just jump in when I ask you. As simple as that. Right now I have no use for mercs, but I do think it is always a good idea to have some contacts available. Is that enough information?
As for the Gaian topic... remember I met you the first time in New London? You were piloting a Gaian ship, the GG-Asagao. A Wild shot you down and I stole the lifepod before he could, just to drop you at the Gaian base in Manchester. I don't really care if you are in touch with them or not, although I am not a big fan of their attack on Orbital Spa and Cruise, but as long as they don't touch Curacao itself, let them have their fun.
Thank you for this little rundown about your tumultuous past, even though it doesn't tell me much. I assume you are one of those weirdos with a fetish for anything Alien, craving for knowledge about things best left alone. My personal experience is it isn't wise to dig too much about it, but you're still alive so I guess you know what you are doing.
I won't mind helping you, granted you stay honest about your goals and motives. I'm afraid I would not qualify as your typical disposable merc, caring only about his payment. I won't help you if I consider what you plan to do detrimental to the people I care about, or simply... Wrong.
Lastly, about Gaians... I do not know what makes you think I'm related with whatever that Asagao ship is, apart from the fact that name is Kusarian - the way my people name these Morning Glory flowers.
If you actually saw that pilot you rescued, you would have definitely found out it wasn't me. All I can guess from the name is it's probably some Kusarian working for the Gaians, which would not be all that surprising given their ties with Farmers Alliance.
[17.01.2018 14:37:26] Sanada.Junko: Oh. That mister peeking at creepy holes in the middle of a green mist in New London system.
Only you were there, on the Asagao. Back then you mentioned you're a kusarian princess, and if I remember correctly, even John Silverstone called you rebel princess. Point and case: You're it. I will keep it as a secret, if you prefer. I don't think there are many people who would give much for that information anyway.
As for jobs, now that I come to think of it, there are two. I do need more information on John Silverstone. Anything you can find about him can be of value. There is this special incident about Enma Loyola's kidnapping and people believe he is somehow involved about it. While I don't think he did it, I want to know why he is so interested about it and why people think he was partaking in this.
And then, if you have any clues about Enma Loyola's kidnapping, I'm pretty interested in that case as well. Many groups are after her, and whoever finds her is certainly in the possession of a valuable good. Her distress call was sent from Coronado or surrounding systems.
