For someone who has an obscene amount of money, why would I sell them?

Seriously what do I want with aesthetically pleasing engines?
As for 'special' guns, I am probably one of the worse PVP orientated people on the Server. Same answer for the Armour, it would just prolonged the agony for a few more seconds.
NEMPs, I don't believe in their use and therefore will never have a Launcher, even though I have 8 of the Bombs.
So, we are back to square one, what else do I do with them other than hoard them as a keepsake, along with the other things I have acquired?

Why do people care so much about stuff that other people have? Those who decided to buy Sci-Data or did the efforts to get it have every right to keep it, sell it, use it or RP with it. Spend your energies on something else than envy. It's not like there is a cap on how much Sci-Data can be on the server.
To elaborate. use them for RP. You might not need the guns, armor or engines, you may not support the idea of NEMPs, but that doesn't stop you from interacting with people that will. You are sitting on 2.5k sci data, which is a fair amount, and given its nature, you can use it to support all kinds of RP. Maybe you develop a new type of weapon, or have somehow acquired the blueprints to one. You could sell this to someone who has a use for it, entirely inrp. You might build the weapons yourself and supply your favorite military with them in exchange for goodwill and favors. You might develop a new armor, that gives any pilot an edge for the next few months, at the cost of the armor being unrepairable.
I'm not sure what type of rp you enjoy, or what you have the most fun doing in the game, but you can use your sci-data commodity to influence rp, and change things for other people, due to its value. You could develop experimental mining techniques based off of the data collected in the past, and use it to place the roleplay foundation for the first ever 5.0 mining bonus.
To reflect on what Sombra said, these are all just ideas I had for what to do with data if you didn't want to simply keep it. If you feel the need to use it or not, that's up to you, and aside from people being jealous about your riches, theres nothing wrong with it at all either way.
