Hello, Reina here, I may have done something today. I was out with the OCS-1mm this morning when I heard some people freaking out about Dublin. I found some Enclave and Bretonians fighting there, so I wanted to help out. We took out one gunboat, heavily damaged another, and damaged a fighter before the 1mm called it quits. I took it easy for the most of the day, took a trip to Liberty after the 1mm was finished being repaired, but nothing really happened there besides a lot of Hellfire flying around. They didn't bother me, and I didn't want to start a fight so soon after getting everything fixed.
I came back to Bretonia and picked up the Pocket Crocodile. I wanted to check out Dublin again, just to give everything a look since the Enclave took out a bunch of bases recently. Sitting at the New London Jumpgate was one of their fighters. We talked for a minute before we started fighting. Another Enclave showed up, a BMF fighter showed up, and things escalated. We were able to shoot down 3 fighters before a Cannonball exploded in my launcher and kicked me out of the fight. But I made it back alive, and I guess the numbers show that they lost more than we did.

[29.05.2020 01:28:59] MdG/-Bastille-L: Because.

[29.05.2020 01:31:10] NO-F-Pocket.Crocodile: What, is it still because of what happened in Sol? Isn't that what your people said the war was about years ago?
[29.05.2020 01:32:22] MdG/-Bastille-L: *sigh* I have no time to get into a debate with you about what the war was about, now I'll give you a chance to leave...

Reina and I flew our bombers out to respond to a request for assistance from a Bretonian defense fleet in the Newcastle system this afternoon. Several Royalist battleships and battlecruisers were in league with Corsair warships in a siege operation against a modular installation in the system. Seeing as the Away Division is cleared for anti-Enclave operations in the region, we decided that it would be a good show of force to bring down some of King Chucky's shiny toys. The BAF sustained a few critical injuries to their forces but nothing that can't be buffed out in drydock.
Total recorded final blows by Natio forces: Three frogs (one of which Reina picked up in Leeds before I arrived in Newcastle; clever girl), one cannibal.
We've broken away for now but are staying close by in case the Royalists regroup. If they do, we'll hopefully be on scene to rout them again.

Left something out of the official report that you might want to know. A few LSF craft were there, fighting alongside us. They didn't say much. Just did good work and got out. I don't think they were really interested in anything other than we were, frankly; smashing up Enclave vessels is something of a universally-appreciated endeavour. I try not to get inside the minds of Libertonian spooks. Stare into the abyss, etc.

Your information is appreciated, Lieutenant. If you find more LSF agents in regions of Octavarian interest, the Commission would appreciate whatever information you can quietly gather - ship designations, armament, etc.
This isn't an order, I do fully understand not wanting to play the spy game. It's simply a request.

Delayed battle report, because Kane needed help with a pitcher of beer, which turned into needing help with four pitchers of beer and a table-share of garlic fries. Blame him, not me.
Yesterday afternoon, a tripartite armada of the Octavarium Fleet, Gallic confederal forces, and the Crayter military engaged and successfully routed a Royalist incursion into Tau-44. One battlecruiser, three cruisers, and a handful of bombers were met with equal numbers. The Enclave forces appeared to be covering the evacuation of some sort of Valor-type battleship with limited functionality. One ship on our side was critically damaged in the skirmish -- a Confederal battlecruiser -- while the Royalist forces were severely hit and forced back while the battleship jumped away. Hopefully the blow to their morale is at least as great as the boon this outcome was to ours.
The command staff of OCS Unforgiven earned their pay today, and then some.

Guten abend,
My name is Doctor Günter Pohl. I'm the chief medic down at Kwinana Refinery. Earlier today, the OCS Night Witch put in for repairs and medical treatment for their CO, Commander Kim Ye-jin. During a battle with a Hellfire Legion gunboat, Commander Kim collapsed into unconsciousness. I think I could bring her around, but I'm reluctant to do so. A neuroimaging scan shows that the activity in her pain center is off the charts, and I'm getting some strange readings I can't make heads or tails of. Normally, I wouldn't bother you about medical matters, but there's an issue with her medical records. It's... well, it's easier to show you than explain:

Doctor Pohl,
I haven't heard anyone go by that title in quite a while. Overlord. Heh. I think the last time anyone really used it was in John's day, but I believe Commander Kim was not in fact part of the Vagrant Fleet when he was still with us. I don't recall putting a lock on that myself, and we haven't had anyone hold the title of Overlord for the better part of a decade -- since roughly the time of the Natio's establishment -- which is concerning.
I will go ahead and unlock the file to the senior medical staff. You can redact and disseminate what you need to appropriately. Though I must say, I am curious as to what you'll find, both in the file and in her noggin.
Good luck.

Guten morgen,
Taskmaster Kane, thank you for the fast reply, and for unlocking those files. I'll need to do a full review before I can say anything conclusively, but after a quick skim... I'm not sure these files are of any use. Something about a Coalition mind-control implant? Is that even a real thing?
*sigh*
Before I rush to judgement, I'll review everything in detail and compare it to my own findings. Once I'm sure she's stable for transport, I'll put her aboard a medical shuttle and transfer her to Canberra Hospital. I'll be coming with her, of course. My assistant can handle things here, and this case is too interesting for me to just hand it off to someone else.
Needless to say, I'll keep you in the loop.

There's been a significant shift in the Kusari movements. They weren't targeting Crayter at all. Barra has fallen, but I have some new information.
This was Cheronsee Outpost. It's now a crippled wreck with Hyono standing guard over it.
Over in Tau-53, they seem to have boarded and seized La Charite Spaceport. I found signs of their movement in the Gallic border, but thus far the Gallic defenses seem to be holding.
I have discussed this with Escher, Sundog, and Weaver, and we have some concerns about how Crayter might respond. Their newest fleet admiral continues the proud Crayterian tradition of drastically overestimating their military power, and I worry that they might try to rush headlong into another war.
But it's up to you whether we share this information or wait for them to figure it out on their own. Personally, I'm going to land on Ten and get a drink.

On my return from New London, we found ourselves in the middle of an encounter between a KNF destroyer ([KNF]IKN-Arashiyama) and a Crayter Military carrier (=CR=FV-Argos|47) in Tau-31, near Harris. As the situation had not yet gone hot, I stopped in an attempt to calm the situation down and encourage both parties to back down and give diplomacy a chance. The CO of the Arashiyama seemed amenable, and the situation was well on the way to being deescalated when a pair of KNF bombers ([KNF]'Ronin',|66th & [KNF]Sk,Hattori) and a fighter (Yang.Shi) arrived. Around the same time, we were reinforced by a single Crayterian fighter (=CR=Zulu).
The Kusari snub pilots were a lot less willing to talk, though.. A last ditch plea for them to withdraw and let diplomacy work fell on deaf ears, and they opened fire. Despite my telling them that Natio Octavarium did not want war, they fired on my ship as well, and we were forced to defend ourselves. We were outmatched, and the battle didn't end well. I was able to limp away, though the Victorious March suffered heavy damage in the process. I've got us moved to the head of the repair queue in case the situation deteriorates further.
I really think someone at the Ministry of Relations should call our Kusari neighbors, though. I'm confident we can defend ourselves in individual engagements, but in the event of a full-scale war with a house military? The Fourth Fleet simply isn't up to that. We need to find a way to smooth this over, or at least keep out of the direct line of fire, and we need to do it soon.

Good day. Well, I suspect most of you don't consider it a good day when I show up in your inbox.
As you may have heard, after the unlawful assault of one of our vessels by the Kusari Naval Forces, we have declared them an enemy of the state. This is, of course, usually considered a Bad Thing.
It's also an opportunity. While the Commission can't officially endorse independently-taken civilian action, unofficially we encourage it. Make what connections you can, make what deals you can, and take what opportunities you can. Many among the Fleet were pilots for the Vagrant Raiders, and I'm sure they would be happy to share their expertise with interested volunteers.
If you end up in trouble... well, don't. But if you do, get a message to us and the Commission will do what we can.
Also, this message is set to delete itself after viewing. Classic security precautions, you understand.
