Hey there folks! - I've been getting slammed with questions about some of the FLHook work I've been doing by various people. After watching Durandal talk while he worked for a little while, and seeing that it genuinely was an effective method of communication, I'll probably do some sort of the same later today.
I'll start streaming generally around 17:00 EDT (21:00 UTC) - Don't expect very much in terms of excitement, as only the insane enjoy watching someone program. Although it may give a general idea as to how the new Playerbase replacement plugin is coming along, what it still needs, plans for the future and how it can be done, as well as various other bits of information which I have been working on. (Hell, if a few people actually trickle in to this, I may show off a few private plugins I've been working on for the fun of it)
If anything, consider it a glorified Q&A session. I'll most likely discuss some other plugins and features I intend on developing later on after my current todo list is finished.
hey , i cant attend the livestream due to Time zone issues but is it possible to develop a POB module which once a certain amount of commodity is sold will spawn a Ship which can be bought ? can this ship vary according to the IFF of the base or something ?
That is technically already possible but currently adding pob modules requires completely editing the plugin, then patching the server with it just so you can add a new module.

Generally, I can do most of the things* asked regarding Playerbases. It's mostly a question of will the development team allow implementation.
MINE!!!!! lots of mines ,to make mine fields around POB's takes a slot and projects 2k or what ever distance outside around the station and if more slots are dedicated to it would layer more mines of course it take a lot of materials to construct it and operate much in the same way the mine fields do else where. ppppllllease it be AWESOME
Mines are fields and can sadly not be spawned. What I would find interesting though would be 'beacons' just nav buoys that you can place further than 5k away so you can make a breadcrumbs trail to your base.
