It has become clear in recent times that while extreme mobility and flurries of smaller craft have ensured the security of Guild space for hundreds of years, spaceborne warfare is in a constant state of flux and The Guild must adapt to ensure its safety.
We are therefore initiating a project to develop capital vessels with the intention of both adhering to existing Guild doctrine with a light and manoeuvrable cruiser designed to supplement our paramilitary's signature hit and run attacks, alongside a divergence from typical protocol with a heavy battleship intended as the ultimate deployment to ensure victory over a beleaguered force in the closing stages of battle.
As our friends, friends with extensive experience in the design, production and maintenance of such vessels, the Gas Miners Guild would like to enlist the assistance of the Blood Dragons and Order in the design of these ships. Once in action, these warships would work to further enforce the security of the Sigma systems and of course would be available to cooperate with yourselves as all available assets of the Guild paramilitary are most honoured to do so now.
We would therefore welcome your thoughts on such a project and whether you might have any interest in such a cooperative effort.

Assistance
I am glad that you decided to continue this co-operation. I heard that your new gunship had filled in the gap that was increasingly harder to close in with others who contend against you in domination of Sigma cluster.
We have a history of successes in engineering, researching and refurbishing cruiser class vessels in the past. Some of our expertise and technology was included in the Kagutsuchi class cruiser. Furthermore, we had also comissioned and modernized entire destroyer for the Bundschuh and continue to build the most sophisticated and destructive warship of its range: the Resheph Recon Cruiser. Adding a GMG equivalent to our portfolio would be an honor. We have the facilities and capability to render assistance to fulfil your requirement for Guild's own destroyer.
Heavy battleships are a tricky subject. There only had been few projects and fewer prototypes in both Liberty's and Order's history that treat doctrine of dreadnoughts. I understand GMG has still two restored 80 years war Bismarck class battleships in your posession, design of which is something you should take advantage of. Also, this includes neccesity to commit a drydock bigger than what The Order currently operates.

Konbanwa Keiji Namura,
It has been a while since we have heard from your organisation, I find it interesting that your first message in months is asking us for help when we have received no word or funding for quite some time. As I am sure you are aware the Kusari civil war has ended and we are in the midst of potentially losing everything that the war helped us gain. Due to this our resources are low and man power is spread thin so before we are willing to support you, we need evidence that you will be the ally you once were before the Rheinland disaster.
Arigato,
Heung Hideyoshi,
Shogunate Treasurer and Representative of Shogun Hideyoshi.
We are most grateful for your response. The Order's capabilities in this field are indeed proven impressively, which serves as reason for The Guild consulting you. We shall of course gladly meet any costs you may incur in our project.
While the objectives of this project are to produce both cruisers and battleships, the latter is the most pressing at this time. The data we have collected in the salvage, restoration and use of the former Rheinland battleships Namura-Maru, Ayakashi-Maru and Daishouri-Maru will prove invaluable of the development of an original dreadnought capable of enforcing the security of the Sigma systems against the likes of the Corsairs, Outcasts and neighbouring house militaries that may at any time decide to overstep their bounds.
Niigata Star City in Sigma-59 possesses most impressive shipbuilding and research and development facilities that are freely available and more than capable of meeting our needs. These facilities were recently tested in the construction of the Bustard civilian carrier Shantar-Maru, which has successfully entered service unannounced, and proved exemplary since.
Should you consider it an effective course of action going forward, your personnel are invited to attend Niigata to meet with our engineers and compare notes in preparation for the design of these ships. Guild engineers also stand ready to visit any Order facilities should you deem this the best way to proceed.
GMG truly believes this to be a great step forward which will benefit both of our organisations in our mutual goals and is honoured to cooperate with the Order in this matter.
The Guild is in receipt of a communication purporting to be from a cell of the Order, Section 8, with which we are unfamiliar.
In order to ensure and maintain our mutual security, we therefore query with you whether this message comes from a legitimate Order source. Your assistance in this matter would be gratefully received.
They are tiny Order cell, but an Order one nonetheless. They had been mostly operating around in independent worlds however as their preference is to work away from Border Worlds which is typically less familiar territory to their agents unlike the Overwatch’s. There is only one, and only one request from us, as The Command. Guildmaster Namura, commander of the ‘eight’ is infamous for repetitively failing to send his reports back to the rest of The Order on time. Taking their work ethic into consideration, I ask that any information you are willing to disclose to them is sent to Order HC as a courtesy. It will be much more efficient than having to remind the ‘eight’ numerous times concerning their obligations to share intel.
