Ah okay, that makes sense. is it possible to only have playerships explode in this manner and not NPCs?
Eg. by dupplicating each and every ship that is flyable to NPCs along with some likely .ini changes and two explosions - player explosions would poof&boom, while the NPC one wouldn't. But... If we doubled the ships, then we'd need to put more Alley Stations in Badtille, which would 'sell' those to NPCs. Or well, that's the only idea that came to my mind as I don't really know how explosions work in FL at all.
