There needs to be a clearly defined line that fixes guns with high DPS + high velocity and low DPS + low velocity. Stuff like heavy flashpoints with 750m/s and 2.8k dps compared to Suntigers with 650m/s and 2.28k dps, regardless of the efficiency difference, shouldn't exist. In duels managing your core is much easier, while in groupfights chances are you'll do with less efficient 8.33s because of refire rate and speed, making Suntigers obsolete in every scenario. Sure, they're efficient, but it only matters so much when the DPS is so low. Upping DPS of all slow + slow refire guns would help a lot.
Ever since the merge of class 7 and class 8 we have this weird case of gun DPS being all over the place. The efficiency is still on point and no gun is "broken" in terms of being worse in every stat than another gun (except TDGs), but if you have a 650m/s gun with 2.8k dps and 6 efficiency, and 650m/s gun with 2.3k dps and 6.1 efficiency, of course you'll take the former. The small loss in efficiency that makes your groupfighting weaker doesn't warrant the huge buff you get in duels with 500 extra dps.
Slow class 7 guns that got merged into class 8 need another look to get their DPS buffed to class 8 level.
