 For god sake how long does it take you to log onto the frickin server to see if Battleships can engine kill.
 Stop with the questioning now. This, that, this again, that again, ect. Its annoying. More importantly. YOU CAN FIND OUT YOURSELF. It's not like we are going to come to your house with shotguns because you didn't ask us a question!
Sean mate, to recap engine kill makes your ship continue in the same direction it was going -- and the speed trickles down slowly. So if your heading north at 350m/s and hit 'z' (or whatever), and then turn around, you'll still be going 350m/s north, just facing south. You might be getting confused because your speedo registers a negative number -- as it mesaures your speed relative to your current facing.
Be sure to hit 'esc' first, to make sure you're not "go to" anywhere.
The "back 'n smack" strategy is good for transports.... if your being chased by a bunch of baddies, hit afterburners, then while holding 'tab' hit 'z' engine kill, then turn around and bring your forward guns to bear against them. NPC's tend not to dodge too much when they're chasing. WARNING: Don't try this in a mine field.
Me too, I agree with Gezza. Sean, all you do is sit around forums and wait for someone to give you answers about everything, things you can easily find out yourself.
