you made a good choice there. For a moment I thought you believed yourself there when you told me you wanted to stay a slave to that police company.
Luckily I found you and you can now dedicate your time to something more worthwhile.
I would give you a task now but I'd be afraid that you'll die in that hunk of scrap and then all the time spent would be truly wasted.
Surely you're eager thought to prove yourself regardless. You should have received my gift by now.
Enjoy your first cardamine and don't dare to not answer when I call that communicator.
You have to understand how Malta works. There's this new uprising mercantile organisation. Offer them your services.
You can drop my name if you feel like you need to but considering the job that might not work in your favour. You said you would be such a good detective and all the regulations would stop you... Now you can show it. I would like to know what the Amalfi Directorates is up to. And not the kind of things they tell me.
If you're done with that I might have a ship that is more fitting and less... that thing you have.
Fancier communicator than the last one, that's for certain. I think you and I both agreed that the Raven's Talon I procured was an item of necessity and bound to be replaced soon, if not immediately upon us coming to an agreement. I'll take your replacement ship and get in touch with this Directorate, I need to ask though, is there anything in particular that you want me to look into or work towards? Perspective helps.
I would never agree on items that ugly being a necessity.
That Directorate is an oddity. I know for certain they've conducted massive mining operations and they're sending trade ships out of our space.
Where to and for what purpose I need to know. Maybe they're already falling apart again and not even worth the effort. That's things no one broadcasts publicly.
So you can get your uniformed ass over there without embarrassing me in the process.
Your ship is ready at the space port. Return me some gallic wine if you return.
Mining Operations, cargo ships leaving our space and Gallic wine, I'll keep my list of things to look into short and get to work immediately. Though I do want to remind you that there's no need to be so abrasive, I need your support if I intend to continue living and doing so on Malta. I gave you my word, as long as you treat me as an associate or employee of yours and not as property, I'm never going to be a disappointment. I'm well aware of my place here and what I need to do to keep it, nothing comes for free. There isn't a need to remind me.
I'll keep you posted, if there's anything else I'll keep my communicator on me at all times.
I'm still waiting for the Directorate to get back to me, but since I'm so grateful for you taking me to Malta, giving me this new job and allowing me to live on your personal estate for the rest of my life, I got you what you asked for. With interest of course, for all the pleasant conversation and benefits you've provided me with.
I hope you like it, I made sure they were top quality, fit for you and your status.
Well I guess we will have to be patient. At least you've brought me something to pass the time. I'm curious how you managed to find so much all on your own.
Now while we wait for the dear... 'Directorate' to come back to you I have another task for you.
You see, someone found something in Xi and it's really must be quite the thing considering all the fuzz in the area.
Go check that out for me while I take care of that ship problem you have there.
It's nice to hear from you again. While we're on the subject of getting rid of ugly ships and cementing my service as your associate, I'm thankful you chose to readily intervene. As always, please let me know how I can make myself useful to you, after all I'm here to serve.
I did as you asked along with the small bonus of terminating a Corsair in the process of my investigation, please review the collection of gun-cam pictures attached to the communication. I met a Separatist officer, I'm assuming she's an officer within the gas giant's inner clouds, I managed to entice her with the offer of Cardamine and a night of unwinding, so consider one more person seduced to our way of thinking, after all you taught me so well.
My scanners picked up a planet hidden within a nebula within the system of Omicron Xi, I assume this is what pulled our attention there, upon approaching it and circling around I found members of the Rheinland Navy and Federal Police already there examining it themselves, they were very distressed upon seeing me, but I doubt it was my mere presence that threw them off, it seemed like they had been engaged recently. I found an atmospheric entry point that was safe for my ship to pass through, upon doing so I bumped into the Separatist and then eventually the Corsair.. as for what I saw on the other side, please see for yourself within the provided imagery.
Another anomaly was an Imperial Kusari Destroyer that decided to turn up in all the chaos and even shot the Corsair I was engaged with, the same Destroyer would later pay Malta a visit and we had a.. civil chat, though I found myself unable to actually scan them or obtain reliable footage of them for some reason, akin to how those nomadic structures were jamming my sensors harshly. This is all far beyond my field of expertise, but I think a potentially rogue veteran warship of the Kusarian Navy would be something that the Buro would be keen to hear about, I have the conversation logs stored if you decide to go down that route, of course you could delegate the task to me, I would also be able to get in touch with the Captain of the Kusarian Destroyer to further find out what their intentions are and who they serve now.
Please let me know what you wish to do given the circumstances and information so provided.
Marvellous. Tell me more about this officer and those Separatists. I have ships to send into Xi. That is nothing we can leave uncontested. Nomad structures of that size typically don't shut down like that. Something must have happened there. Something big.
And I don't intend to let the Corsairs or anyone else have it for themselves. But that is a matter for the Military.
As for that Kusari ship you saw. It's better if you don't think too much into that. We will handle it. Good on you for telling me right away.
Now since you're so good at making friends I would very much like to know more about those Separatists after you told me more about your girlfriend you made.
