He rose to his feet, helmet in hand and then soon locked in place, taking a deep breath in as he found the cold embrace of the filtered air it streamed through comforting. "While her name might certainly sound like she lives among us, I sincerely doubt that being the case. If she were among us, I'd know."
There were two things he wanted to do before leaving, one was approaching the bartender to offer his compensation for the table. "I'll pay for the damage, I came with some Sirian credits but I doubt they'll be enough. If you can wait a day, I'll wire the amount directly to an account of your choice."
He pushed open a suit compartment, pulling out a few cards of currency and laying them out on the table before the bartender. "That should cover another bottle for Silver."
He had only one left to do and that was to tip the waitress now, she hadn't moved from her spot and seemingly hadn't stopped watching him either, not sure of what to think of that just yet, he decided to just get this over with for the time being.
Offering her a moderate tip even though he ordered nothing, he'd think over what he was going to tell her before actually saying it. "Your name?"
He was entirely sure she hadn't spoken a word to him apart from just act politely, perhaps she was even flattered by his outburst when met with her feigned demise, as unintentional as that display might have been.
"Knowing Humanity - We will be duty, bloody and unavoidable."
Her heart skipped a beat. If his eyes were staring at her instead of that helmet, she knew her legs would be weak. "K-Kira, señor.. Kira Bom-Sol."
She couldn't stop feeling the heat coming to her cheeks, and lowered her head in shame. If she could, she would run, but her employer would be furious.
She was nervous, elevated heart-rate, dilated pupils, the works, if the suit readings were accurate, she was more than definitely attracted to him. That was a confusing conclusion to reach however and one he wanted to at the very least understand, given their origins as people. "Before I say anything else, I have to know, why do you a Woman from Crete, have such interest towards me? A Man who has probably killed dozens of your brethren without a second thought."
He wasn't sure if the helmet was making this worse or better, but he was well aware that taking it off here and now wasn't feasible so long as someone remained in a vantage point, paired with a high-powered automatic rifle.
"Knowing Humanity - We will be duty, bloody and unavoidable."
Once again, the same old grudges. The pain that fuels the universe around her, coming to knock again. "Man's foolishness is what make enemies. So, what I consider brethren is dead, señor...?"
She decided to avert her eyes again, looking at her feet.
He nodded at what she said, smiling at her expression of wisdom very faintly, not that she could see that. But he was aware of the fact that she'd not answered his actual question and instead skipped around it. "You dodged my question, Frau Bom-Sol. I asked why you were interested in me, nothing else."
He took note of the fact that she seemed unable to look at him and instead chose to keep her eyes glued to her feet, being somewhat tempted to hook a finger under her chin and gently raise her head. His discipline clearly at a stalemate with his youth.
"Knowing Humanity - We will be duty, bloody and unavoidable."
Her grey eyes saw the exchange of words and rose an eyebrow. And rose her nose, as if smelling the air, much like a predator. And as a predator that smelled no prey, it continued its path. She turned around and nursed her drink. Dai was up there, with the man's helmet in sight.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:12:00] Traxit: this is smut stop
With a small gesture of his arm, he explained the slight awkwardness behind the situation, her words did cut a little because it was often a struggle to to keep his mind occupied and not focused on the things he regretted the most, though he found it interesting she could see through that attempt. "I've been asked to leave, would you like to come with me so we can continue talking? I assume you have a break at some point."
If she agreed, he'd turn and start walking for the door, fully prepared to leave the bar and instead venture into the hangar, wanting to continue this discussion next to his ship, that way, when he had to leave it would be fairly convenient.
"Knowing Humanity - We will be duty, bloody and unavoidable."
She didn't seem so nervous or shy now, he wondered why that was. Was she suddenly comfortable with the situation? Why was he even thinking about this?. "I'll answer any questions you have, just not here. But to sate your curiosity, it's Lukas." He hoped she wouldn't persist any further in the bar of all places.
"Knowing Humanity - We will be duty, bloody and unavoidable."
