Mister Callahan,
Sadly there has been some silence over the past weeks between the Union and Almalfi, I do hope that nothing is causing too many problems for you within your territories. But lets put the formalities aside, the reason I've contacted you this time is a bit more a private matter. The situation within Rheinland is getting worse and it makes my heart feel heavy knowing that my own home starts to feel completely alien to me.
The way the Unioners do operate within Bering makes me feel... more uncomfortable to say the least. This is no place for what is left of my family to remain at. Realising that it is not possible for me to protect my sister anymore be it from outside or inside the Unioners, I turn to you and ask you for a favour. I need someone to protect her in my stead and the further away from Rheinland the better it will be.
This isn't a Unioner matter, this is my personal request to save the life of the person I treasure the most.
I will await your reply.
Kind regards,
The Countess of Ravensberg;
Mistress of the Hamburg Cell;
Part of the Alster Union Triumvirate

Miss von Ravensberg,
Amazingly, this is not the first time I've had a similar request asked of me from someone in a not too dissimilar situation- the other situation was just far more.. tragic.
I will make what arrangements I can, but I must warn you; these arrangements come with the same caveat all dealings with any of Malta do: cardamine exposure is quite a real possibility. I could ramble off the positive aspects of the Dream's influence all day if needed - for there are many - but ultimately that information would largely be useless to you in such a situation as this. As stated, I've made arrangements for chemically sterile and politically safe environments before, but exposure to the Orange is just as possible as anything; you should be prepared for that should it occur.
As for your organization: we've lacked any meaningful contact beyond the odd transport once in a great while so I'm left to wonder precisely what goings-on we're not privy to down there that causes you to act in such a way? How exactly do you mean " the situation has gotten worse and worse"? Has something happened or is there another reason for this sudden request?

I will start with answering the latter part of your reply, as it is probably the easier one to answer. Over the past few weeks the Unions forces have been fighting at all fronts. In Rheinland and in Bering. There are reports of the Hessians regaining more strength but more dangerously is the Navy and the Military. The snippets of informations I get out of Bering suggest that it, probably, has become the most chaotic system in the immediate area. We are loosing pilots at a rate which lets my face turn pale, forcing us to send even less skilled ones into the meatgrinder.
You asked why I request this so sudden, the things mentioned above. It is possible that my sister will have to go through that as well, I do not want to read a message saying that she was shot down by some Hessian or soldier one day. I rather send her out of my reach and out of the reach of our enemies than see this day happen...
If you want anything in return just name it, I will try to use my influence to make it happen. The only thing I ask of is that my sister is safe under your protection and... I personally have heard of what the Orange is capable, especially if it is taken over years. I am not against it as it seems to offer a lot for... the price one has to pay. I already organised a ship with which she can travel to Malta, civilian transponder and the such.

Miss von Ravensberg,
Malta is the safest haven I can offer at the moment, but it does as stated run the risk of Cardamine inhalation, even with the best cleanrooms that I can get her access to. Fact of the matter is: the Orange is so ingrained in the Maltese biosphere. atmosphere, and lithosphere that separating it from the food, and dust and other particulates in the air and even the very sediment on the ground outside is nigh impossible. Union facilities and plantations offer the best security from outside threats, but the highest risk of contamination- that is provided that Cardamine exposure is something you're concerned of. I recognize that you and her are leaning on the side of not caring about the exposure but just be aware: this is not a decision to make lightly. Cardamine's effects on the human physique are genetic in nature, and thus are not only permanent and carry great ramifications for life, but also affect anyone exposed beyond simply their own generation. The benefits of Cardamine are great, some in ways I cannot even begin to describe, but I worry that you're rose-tinting yourself as to the substance's benefits and ignoring the drawbacks. If you and her are of the mind to damn the side-effects of the Orange, I will not dissuade you further.
As for the exchange: we'll call it a favor for now, I have little immediate need for your organization's resources at this time. Just be aware that favors around the kinds of people I regularly associate with don't tend to be small ones. Relay the information as to how we can transfer your sister to our care, and we'll go from there. Capiche?

Mister Callahan,
Sadly I will have to keep this message a bit shorter, having an important meeting on Kreuzberg.
My sister is already on her way to Alpha, arriving there in the following days. I instructed her to contact you via this channel as soon as she has entered the system. Anything that happens after that I will leave to you two to discuss. You have my sincere gratitude for this.

Miss von Ravensberg,
I'll see to it that she is safely met and escorted to Malta's orbit. We'll find her refuge elsewhere afterwards once we've had a chance to talk.
Worry not for her safety: she couldn't be in better hands.

I was told to contact you over this channel. I have entered Alpha a few minutes ago. I am awaiting the precise coordinates where I should head or am I getting picked up by one of your pilotes? Either way I will eagerly await your response.

Miss von Ravensberg,
Make your way towards the direction of Valetta shipyard, 30 degree inclined prograde orbit around Malta. Our sensor arrays and recon patrols are already aware of your location and have you covered should the unexpected happen.
I bid you a fond and warm welcome to your new refuge within Maltese airspace, Miss von Ravensberg.
