What Outcast faction???
IIRC, there is not or have not seen no Outcast Player Faction flying about in my Timezone.

We fly late at night, as most of our membership is US based, and usually work during the day. We're here, just at a different time than most of the forum.
Just because we dont fly during your timezone, doesn't mean we don't fly ~<3

Note: Strafing is bad thing for Cruisers, don't even bother to Strafe.
Strafing is literally the only string to the Storta's bow.
So you're both advocating for the Storta to not be touched, but also denouncing it's sole capability in combat, while also not being someone who has to fly one regularly.
Y'dont have to be a rocket scientist to do the math on that one.
Strafing is something extra with a very situational use and definitely not a characteristic to judge a ship or base its fighting style around. The extra strafe could be removed entirely and Storta'd still be a great ship. It has everything you want against caps going for it - 12 guns with good arcs, great shape and good enough core to do serious damage over time. The better question is - what doesn't the Storta have going for it?
If you're good at something you don't have to do it all the time to stay good. Since the model got changed me as well as other cruiser aces have tried and tested it in many fights and almost all scenarios from cruiser duels to various fleet fights, and everyone agrees that it was busted op on release, and still top tier now after the armor and turn rate nerfs. I re-bought it yesterday, did a few duels against cruisers (Takeda and LSC), won all 6 of them and then proceeded to demolish a solid Legate who didn't even take down my shield before being blown up. None of the 3 cap pilots I fought were bad, in fact someone like @Reddy is considered as pretty good. The cruiser is still one of the best in the game, and even before rebuying it I knew these will be the results. Now that I have, I'm more than willing to record a few videos in the thing if you still don't believe me.
On the contrary, if you're doing something often it doesn't mean you're good at it. It usually helps but is in no way a guarantee and can sometimes backfire if you're doing it wrong, which in this example is flying the Storta like any other cruiser with regular WASD turret steering. It's different, that doesn't make it bad. Perhaps now's the time for those Conn lessons I said I'll give you?
