I was a signatory to the Secrets Act of 713 when I was first elected Head of the Bridge Crews in 774, but have found that act to be defunct since the Official Secrets Act of 790. We aboard the Tonnammar have since seen two invasions of Bretonia, and the issue of our commitment was raised at a recent all hands. As such, I feel the need to re apply for service to the crown, and, if you'll have us, put forward the heads of ship aboard for consideration as sworn agents of the crown. Those are Kathy Fin Wright-Halloran, speaking for engineering. Sally Halloran, voted by specialist committees, head of Personnel, Mag Halloran for Finance, two popular-consuls James Halloran and Greg Halloran, and myself, James David Halloran.
The totality of souls aboard now numbers eighty three, children included, and we are outfitted with survey equipment, and a top of the line sensor array with accompanying reconnaissance hardware. We did have a liscense under Bowex, but since Glasglow has been lost, I don't believe the records of our contracts exist. We've been hired on to supply the front by the RM, as we were during the 80 years war, and are sure run across interesting things. I do believe you ought to be able to find at least mention of the Tonnammar in some ancient records, but times do change.
If you can make use of us, we are at your service.
James David Halloran,
Captain of the Merchanter Tonnammar
The Service always welcomes those who have observations to share. For now, we would simply ask that your keep an eye out for whispers and any information you happen across on your travels. Should you find something that you deem to be relevant, then forward it to us, we will happily pay you a sum of credits for your time.
You will of course be required to sign the Official Secrets Act. This is a security requirement and is designed not as a threat, but to keep you and those closest to you safe. I trust you understand.
