Good day!
My name is Captain John Riley, and I have the good fortune of serving as Guildmaster for the Octavarium Mercantile Guild. The OMG serves the interests of Natio Octavarium's independent merchant captains by providing discounted shore services, hiring services for Guild-certified crew members and escort pilots, and access to lucrative trade contacts.
It's the latter service that brings me to you today. Through my contacts in the Octavarium government, I've been made aware of your holdings in the Roussillon system. For some time now, OMG merchant vessels have been supplying your holdings in the Champagne system with otherwise hard-to-acquire Sirian goods. I would like to believe that we've proven ourselves trustworthy in the process. The Roussillon system is a long way from your holdings in Gallia, and there's a lot of hostile space for your logistics corps to get through.
The Guild would, for proper compensation, be happy to assist you in this endeavour. The system is not difficult for our ships to reach, and we are willing to supply your bases there with anything they might need. We understand that you're very protective of the system and don't let just anyone in there. You have my word as Guildmaster that neither myself or anyone carrying a Guild card will abuse your trust.

Je suis Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil, et unfortunately I have to bring bad news. Months ago the Gallic Royal Navy has estabilished a foothold et manged to construct a forward operations base et repair facility dangerously close to Roussillon, which puts increased pressure on us et all those opposing the Gallic Crown. A response to this message was planned, but was put on hold back then, intendedly until we confirm the source et the degree of the increased threat, then was likely forgotten when we began planning a counter to that base.
Indeed, you are correct, the security of our Sirian home system depends highly on secrecy, discretion, et thus also on the amount of traffic coming from or going to Roussillon. This new development forces us to control et limit said traffic in order to keep the inhabitants of Toulouse et of the nearby installations safe. Because of this, while we value your efforts et assistance, your request is denied for the time being. Don't worry, however, we estimate a coordinated removal of this threatening installation to happen by the end of this year. Sign back to this channel in two months, should you wish to re-request access to the system.
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil

Good day, again!
I know it hasn't yet been the two months you specified, however conditions have changed since we last spoke. I'm sure you noticed the recent major sector-wide shifts in the jump hole network. Fourth Fleet scouts have reported that one of those shifts has opened a new jump hole between our home system, Tau-44, and Roussillon. As we're now neighbors due to circumstances beyond our control, I felt it prudent to reopen this channel and renew the Guild's request for access to the system for the purposes of trade and resupply. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Conditions indeed changed, besides the interstellar reconnections there is one more thing: the general restriction of Roussillon has been lifted entirely. On one hand this means free passage within the system - as long as The Council is concerned - for OMG. On the other hand the reason behind lifting the restriction was the Gallic Royal Navy's siege of the system, rendering the restriction itself meaningless, et eventually forcing us to flee.
We are evacuating the system in regards to both personnel et resources, Toulouse will no longer accept incoming shipments. The Council Job Center will also be closed temporarily in the upcoming days, so that we can make the necessary amendments et edits to properly represent this change. Should our dire situation not change et the GRN's threat persists, this is the course of action we are forced to take.
Sincèrement,
Général Pierre LaFlamme Du Conseil
