I had made up a suggestion but unfortunately most people shot it down before I even put it up on the forums. I am still adamant about this being a Firm No. Because frankly, it leaves Junker's with no Neutral 4.3k. SRP Is more then a viable option if you need it.
However, my opinion would be swayed if there was a Junker's 4.3k Transport made which would thus replace the pilgrim and I would then have no issue with it being nerfed back down to 3.6k

I thought it was a Disco Model? I know the Crane was in Vanilla

Yes, and swap Titanic and Stork’s cargo space or model so Titanic’s the 5k and Stork’s 4.8k. Stork is by far the smallest 5k on top of the cargo pods, it’s multiple times smaller than say a Colossus.

No. Corporations should have an edge and have much higher cargo over regular factions who would close the gap towards being all-around choice.
Even now we have an issue noone likes to talk about how mining factions have an edge over trading factions due to having access to same 5k transports but having such a profitable venue as mining.

I would honestly be content with mining Corps going to 3600 With maybe an exception made for IMG
There is a legitimate balance reason for the unloved Crane to have the cargo and other stats it does now: It's among a very small crowd of high-cargo ships that didn't get its bot count nerfed at all in the great large transport nerf. It has 11k more hull and crucially, 100 more bots than the Stork, while still having more cargo than a battletransport.
The only ships it even roughly shares these characteristics with are the far more exclusive ALG transport and Corsair train, both of which are much larger.
If you reduce its hold to 4000, you've essentially created a lawful/generic pirate train.....with 300 less cargo.
It's true that the balancing of the three trains is a bit strange; the main reason for that is the stupidly broken Stork itself, which is totally unbalanceable as a 5ker. Switching the cargo holds of the Titanic and Stork around like Antonio said is certainly not a bad idea; combining this with the suggested nerf would make for reasonable spacing between the three, but leave the Crane's current niche unoccupied.
Alternatively, the Stork could simply become the current Crane (and the Titanic the generic 5k), which would leave the Titanic's admittedly fairly useless niche unoccupied.
Either way, a generic 4k transport seems like an undesirable niche to me. Factions able to fly it are likely to prefer the ~4.3k battletransports, which have more cargo, bots, and a lot more firepower, albeit at the expense of size. If it's to be 4k, it should at least have a CM to retain a small niche of its own.
