Is it viable? I've bought this awesome looking ship and take it for a test run in Munich with Miner ID, no IFF and four mining turrets, placed to slots specified in the mining guide aaaand... got less then 1 ore unit per rock. Actually something like 2 ore units per 3 rocks, which is quite frustrating. Having a possible field depletion in mind, I've reloged next morning, having like 5 people online, just to get the same result. It seems odd to me, cause ship classified as Rheinland civilian and have normal 90% compability for miner ID, while demonstrating awful performance in its primal function, while I've earned 20 mil to buy it on Junker character in hour and a half just stuffing the Buffalo base bursting of premium scrap. So, if I've overlooked something in mining system, please, point it out for me, I was away for some time. And if Kaiser is unavailable for free miners, I just want to know why.
Everything about Mining can be found here: Mining Guide
Kaiser Mining Ship Newly introduced Rheinland mining vessel with Hegemon-like cargo hold.
IDs: DHC, ALG, Kruger
Ores: Aluminum, Silver, Cobalt, Uncut Diamonds, Copper
Mining Array Hardpoints: Place on slots 2-3-4-5
From the mining guide. Right now, the Kaiser mining bonus is only available for Dauman, ALG and Kruger. So the Miner ID gets no bonus. Right now the Hegemon is the only choice for solo mining in a Mining ID Transport.
Yep. Clearly my bad, I've read following...
> you require a mining company ID (for example, DHC) with a matching IFF, or alternatively, an independent “Miner ID’
> IDs must be used in tandem with their matching IFF, except in the case of the Miner ID, which may use any IFF (or none at all).
as I want it to hear, not as it actually says.
Thank you for your help.
Still, I think, that miner ID needs more love, and adorable Kaiser ship, with all that hardcoded hate from mainstream unlawful factions and main ore sell points set to undockable mining companies bases.
