I am Victoria Knight, currently commanding the Separatist forces in Liberty. Now we're not aware as to how far the Royal Navy communicated their operations within Liberty to the Gallic public but we've fought Libertys Navy together in the past.
Though a movement like this is hardly running on justice alone. And with most of our support coming from former military right now we don't have access to Libertys markets in the same way other groups do.
We are able to move our ships through Rheinland and according to reports your transports seem to reach them conveniently enough to build their infrastructure instead of Ageira.
While we're not having the capacity to offer direct trade, we would like to enquire about a possible ship purchase.
We're requiring freighter class ships and would like to know what Gallia has to offer.
This communique of yours came as a surprise to me Admiral, I for one wasn't expecting a message from a Liberty entity, in this case Separatist.
At first Admiral, I was going to simply close your transmission and go on with my day, but I've decided not to simply because I find this very... intéressant. You're speaking to Officier de Sécurité Kylian Chappelle, nice to meet you, now that we cleared that out, let's continue with your... request.
To quote: "we've fought Libertys Navy together in the past", now I could go directly to Roi and request the data on this, but that wouldn't be as fun as hearing directly from you, when and where have you fought "Libertys Navy" with the Roi forces, Admiral Knight? I'm sure that you can provide me with clear details, no? If what you say is true, then this might actually lead somewhere, but if you are lying Admiral... he takes a sip of his wine.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but few years ago Rheinland and Liberty were at the state of war and now we have Separatists that are fighting the Libertys Navy and at the same time can freely move throughout Rheinland space, oui? How does Rheinland react when they see Separatists in their space? If they're letting you fly freely there then you must've done something to deserve such... let's say luxury?
As for Gallic Infrastructure Admiral, you're right, the superior Gallic technology is indeed ready to replace the outdated Ageira structures. One day, Liberty might accept the fact that Gallic technology is far more superior and actually spend money on decent gates and lanes made by technologically superior EFL, but one thing at a time Admiral Knight.
I don't have much time so I will bring this message to an end, or rather close to it. I have the authorization to give out ships that you're interested in, which I will, but not for free. What would a Monsieur like me be interested in Admiral Knight, what can your Separatist group offer me for such ships?
Rheinland and Liberty have long since ended their war. Trade has resumed between the two houses and no hostile actions are taking place. Though relations are certainly not peaceful and mistrust is great, no side would dare to do any open action against the other now.
Keeping their enemies busy at the border is no doubt appreciated by Rheinlands authorities.
As for our operations with your Naval forces, I'd already given orders to retrieve old reports when I've today received something far better.
One of our capital ships was involved in a combat operation in California yesterday. While the Royal Navy vessels were damaged heavily, the combined forces managed to defeat Libertys defense forces.
Feel free to confirm this information with the Royal Navy.
I am well aware that the war between the Rheinland and Liberty is over and that the mistrust is and will be present for a long time. What makes me curious Admiral is what you said about keeping their enemies busy at the border, who would those enemies be?
Moving on we have the part where your Separatist soldiers are assisting le Roi. The evidence you've submitted checks out, it's pleasing to see that you're true to your word Admiral Knight. I must admit, it is a rare sight nowadays. Hold on to that, be truthful and you might have a bright future in working with the King's most faithful company - the Ile De France Shipping.
We'll move on to why you contacted us in the first place. You showed interest in a very good Freighter class ship - the Aurochs.
Before closing the deal we must discuss the details:
How many ships are you willing to purchase?
Which loadout would suit you best?
Where should your soldiers pick up the ships?
I would like to know more about the purpose of your inquiry Admiral. If you get your hands on those ships, I want to know where will you use them and for what purpose? Our ships are very different, meaning that they do not run on your usual fuel which is the H-Fuel, instead they run on Oil/Promethene a fuel that your group will hardly acquire as it's place of origin is in Gallia. Unless your group doesn't get a clearance to enter Gallic space then you won't get enough fuel to make those engines running for long. You see that this might be a little problem, no?
If we manage to resolve this issue then the only thing left would be the price, I would like to hear your offer Admiral.
should we decide to acquire your vessels, we'd like to acquire three to test performance and usage of these ships. Most important to its intended operations are speed and sturdiness. These ships need to avoid hostile craft but survive harsh environments and the occasional attack.
They should be equipped defensively. Since they're mostly attacked by small craft that should be the primary weapons focus.
The fuel or engine issue is something that's already under review though if you could let us know if there is any plan to distribute your Promethene in Rheinland that would certainly make such a decision easier.
A port in Rheinland would certainly be best to pick up the ships. I'm sure there's a clear route for your vessels to take.
Though we expected to receive a price from your esteemed company. Is there no listing price for these vessels? The shipment of the vessels is estimated to be the highest expense considering the distance.
The Aurochs Freighter is known for it's speed as it is mostly used by our company and other Gallic corporations for moving large amount of cargo. The sturdiness of the ship is on an acceptable level, but I am certain that it will resist any harsh environment, after all... this is the Gallic design we're talking about.
You said that you're interested in three and three we shall provide for a certain price. Admiral Knight, the Ille De France Shipping for these ships won't ask for Francs or Sirian Credits in your case as we are in a need of something entirely different. The group that you're commanding; your Separatists, you are ex-Liberty Navy pilots I assume? If that is the case Admiral then you must for sure have some archives of old Navy guns, equipment etc. etc.
Now I would like to exchange our three Freighters for the above mentioned Data, 45 would suffice. With that I can also offer you a shipment of Promethene for which we would need 50 mil. Francs. The account on where you should send the required funds is IDF|Lys.
The Promethene is extremely valuable and the Gallic companies such as EFL and ille De France Shipping won't export such fuel to Rheinland any time soon or as long as the fuel is needed on the Gallic fronts. Fuel is the issue Admiral, so what I can offer you right now are Monthly shipments of fuel for a price of 50 mil. Francs / Month. It won't be much, but it will definitely suffice for a Month..
If you find all this acceptable then the exchange will happen in Rheinland space, Cologne to be more precise.
After much deliberation, we've decided to acquire your freighters. We'll be ready to exchange old combat data with you as required once we'll be given the vessels.
To keep the vessels running we'll also acquire one shipment of Promethene. You should've received the payment for that already.
Now all that remains is the exchange of the vessels. Organising this one can be done through this channel.
One of my Lieutenants will contact your company soon in regards to hiring your transports for a shipment if that is currently possible.
