It is with great joy I introduce myself to the noble Kingdom of Gallia. My name is Petros Katsouranis and, by the will of our Archon, I am the ambassador-designate to Gallia. One of the stipulations of our treaty[1] was an exchange of embassies on both of our respective capital worlds. With necessary administrative details taken care of, the Custodi feel it is excellent time to act upon that stipulation.
However, one minor detail is that the leaders of our nations haven't had the chance to sign the treaty yet. While it could surely be done with less effort than what I'm about to propose, the Custodi feel that an official establishment of diplomatic ties with Kingdom of Gallia deserves a more extravagant celebration.
With that in mind, the Archon suggests an official state visit to Gallia, on board of our newest acquisition, the luxury Kusarian liner Blachernae. We believe it would be an excellent occasion to inform our respective peoples of the newly grown alliance between our houses and to commit to paper our declaration of friendship. I would be happy to discuss the details of such a visit with a logistics officer of your choosing.
We are eager to hear back from the noble house of Gallia.
Yours sincerely,
Πέτρος Κατσουράνης

MARINE ROYALE GAULOISENouveau message entrant. Identifiant : Amiral Isabelle Montlaville de Chanteloup Unité : Etat-major de la Marine Royale Gauloise Destinataire : Son Excellence, l'ambassadeur Petros Katsouranis, Custodi
Sujet : Avec plaisir.
22 décembre, 741 A.G.S.
Ile-de-France
A somewhat smiling, that is to say an absolutely radiant Chanteloup appears on-screen.
Kyrios Katsouranis,
Pleased to meet you. I am Isabelle Montlaville de Chanteloup, chief of staff of the Marine Royale. I had the pleasure, as you know, of negociating our accord with Kyrios Nikitas. How is he ? Please pass him my regards. As such, I felt appropriate to be the first to invite you to the inauguration ceremony of your embassy on Paris. Our nations have, at this point, been on friendly terms for quite some time. The moment has come to make it official. I should like to visit this liner of yours very much.
I will remain at your disposal for the organisation of this visit, and I will be assisted in this by contre-amiral Everett Fontaine, who is my most adequate element for such an occasion. You ask for extravagance, I guarantee that extravagance you shall receive. It is a Gallic specialty. Many important names will be in attendance, too ; make sure your people look the part. Not that I presume otherwise, of course, but... Just come prepared.
I'd like to use this opportunity to bring up two more points at your intention. One, I am personally grateful for the assistance you have provided us in regards to the London campaign. The Custodi have made good on their word to bring fresh and battle-hardened troops to relieve our forces, and the effects have been quick and decisive. His Majesty has been informed of your steadfastness. I like steadfastness, and so does he.
Second point : Omega 49. For evident reasons, the recent... Developments in that system are of the utmost interest to us. As you know, the Marine is tied up in Bretonia ; the adversary has amassed all he had left to block our passage. That will keep us from dispatching any kind of heavy asset to Canaria. However, I do not mean for you to fight this battle alone. Well, there's the Zoners, but... Hehe... As I was saying ; we won't leave you on your own. I have created, last month, Task Force Tamaran to monitor the situation over this system and act as relay between you and us. Starting now, Tamaran will take on a more active role. I will try to gain the support of the GRI for this, but our plan is to reinforce the Zoner insurgency with advisors and special operations teams. There's not a lot more we can do for now, and I still shudder at the notion of trained Zoner insurgents... But faute de grives, on mange des merles. Please inform your government that Gallia stands ready to do all it can on that front.
I look forward to meeting you, Kyrios Katsouranis.
The screen fades, and the connection cuts.

Thank you for your kind words. As I am personally not involved in the events on the front line, I hear often from my nephew Angelos and my granddaughter Maria, both pilots in the Custodi navy, about the situation there and they never fail to mention the valour and skill of Gallic pilots.
Similarly, regarding the situation in Omega-49, I understand that you have received the message from our Archon and know our stance on the issue. We have indeed received word back from the GRI informing that we can expect support from them, which we are of course most grateful for.
Now, to the matter at hand. Since your response is favourable, we will begin making arrangements as soon as possible. The Blachernae will enter Gallia from Lorraine and from there we'll rely on your escort. We will bring some security of our own, of course, I hope that's not going to be an issue.
We also intend on reaching out to Kusari for a right of way through their systems, I'm sure that'll prove to be no problem.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
