So I know this whole wear&tear thing on PoBs has been done forever now but I was thinking. What if we change that into Fueling the base instead of "repairs" and use the Repair Ship to repair the PoB? Cuz right now bases die alot slower so I think if you make a couple buddies of yours in a faction log their repair ship to repair the hull it would give + activity and the Repair Ship useful for multiple purposes.
This would also change the commodity for sustaining a base into H-Fuel and such (which is also used for shield) to maintain the base. Sure a base needs fuel now and then for certain things to work? Whatever kind of fuel it may be.
Sounds pretty cool to me, I could see it being pretty useful either as a complete change or just as a way to get extra repairs between seiges on top of the slower regen of current mechancics

Yes. It's trading. Same as trading any other cargo. Where you move your ship from A to B. And are out in the open to be pirated. Or just meet other traders.

Ye but dude I also mentioned the the alloy thing would be replaced with "Fuel" so you still need to deliver Fuel for the base to maintain. At least for wear&tear purposes.
